Our archway of scratch art is finally complete in the library. Students do these at break and lunch to relax. This has been a year in the making!

Dr Root and Ms Tribe caused quite the stir when they walked around the school judging the tutor door competition today!

We were lucky enough to have @anthony_mcgowan visit NOA yesterday. Students read his award- winning book 'Lark' as part of their tutor reading programme. He spoke to all students in Y7 & Y8 and did workshops with creative writers from other years. Everyone had a great day!

Wellbeing week in the library. Students have been asked to look in the mirror and pay themselves a compliment. So powerful ❤️

Our blind date with a book display ❤ All books wrapping designed by students. The student librarians have created a box of free compliments to make everyone feel good about themselves! ❤

Thank you to @Biggreenbooks for making our library a recipient of their raffle. We ordered new books for our non-fiction section - cue much excitement from the students unpacking the box!

Our new recommended reads shelf - all recommendations by students 😊

We opened days 1 & 2 today as it is an inset day. Great choices 👏

Great excitement in the library last night as we unveiled our book advent. These books were all individually wrapped and donated by Y8 student librarian Esme, who kept it a secret from everyone until yesterday. She got the biggest cheer from the other student librarians! 🎄🎉🎄

Look what appeared in the library this morning. Bought in by a Y8 student librarian, and reinforcing my conviction that student librarians are the best people in the world!
