Alright, let’s cut through the noise around this “Appmafia” mess. Here’s the real, no-BS breakdown and guess what IT’S FREE: - Brainstorm a catchy, unique AI app idea that people can’t ignore - Use AI tools like Cursor or Bolt to slap it together in a week - Toss on a decent logo to make it look legit (no design degree required) - Throw cash at TikTok UGC creators and IG influencers to hype it up - Run a couple of paid ads to give it that polished, trustworthy vibe - Keep on running feedback loops and iterate You’re welcome, folks! this is the DIY playbook to skip the $997 course fee and still play the game.

Arc was the only browser that made me feel like I had my shit together. Now it’s getting sunset on Dec 22 This is personal
🤖 Made with AI
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

PHP flaw: 5-minute check • Find your PHP version • Compare to 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, 8.2.35 • Update or ask your host • Restart the server • Check every client site
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

$10k/month is simple. • Go to Hacker News
• Search "leaked API key"
• Find scared startup founders
• Build a key scanner app which auto-rotate keys every week
• Alert when spend looks weird
• Charge $99/month Would you pay $99/month for this?
Railway has been hacked.

Here's my submission for @bubble hackathon Onlyplans, a web and mobile app that helps you make plans with friends without the group chat mess
Onlyplans is a simple web and mobile app that helps you make plans with friends without the usual group chat chaos. Why we built it: Most plans die in long message threads. We wanted a faster, clearer way to decide and move forward. Features: ✅ Create p... contra.com/community/IxiknZH…

> small-town kid, obsessed early > cracks IIT, earns his edge > went to Berkeley > worked at OpenAI, DeepMind, Google > realised search is broken > built Preplexity AI > Competed against Google > focused on speed, truth, citations > let product win, ignored the noise > slowly steals attention, builds trust > now hitting Big Tech head-on INSANE
Perplexity started as a small business tool for ourselves. We had 4 people and no revenue with AI at our fingertips. The pivot to Computer is actually a full circle. Founders are using it to grow companies that matter to the economy and their communities.  It’s rewarding to see it now powering small businesses and startups in big ways. Perplexity is still a startup. We just 5X’ed revenue from $100M to $500M with only 34% growth in team size. 2x revenue growth in 2026 with same small team. And we’re just warming up. Everyone here works at a small business, and everything we build is for people who build.

Happened to me in Toronto 1.5 years ago. Cold air, unfamiliar streets, no one knew me and for the first time , I realised I wasn’t lost… I was becoming someone new
Walking alone through a foreign city at night and realizing how far you’ve come has to be a top 3 peak moment of all time
