After great suggestions, I've narrowed down the best actors to play Doctor Doom in the MCU.
- Christopher Judge (God of War)
- Cosmo Jarvis (Shogun)
- Michael Fassbender (X-Men)
All have the gravitas to pull off the ego... & 2 have the physique to carry that glorious cape.
The future of the MCU won't depend on X-Men.
The future of the MCU won't depend on Deadpool.
The future of the MCU DEFINITELY won't depend on cameos.
It'll depend on one thing... whether they can get Doctor Doom right.
The question is... who could possibly do him justice?
The new Superman outfit is superior for reasons nobody is discussing.
There's more to "power" than looking like you can destroy someone. Gunn understands that. I'm confident the movie does too.
It's a far more positive portrayal of masculinity than Zack Snyder's hyper-toxic BS.
Everything about the new X-Men comic line is just a massive downgrade from the beautifully unique identity and style that Krakoa had.
Nostalgia is the death of creativity.
There comes a point in commercialism when the endless commodification of everything goes from novel to tacky.
The X-Men Xbox is definitely at that point.
A shoe store called Liefeld's.
That's bloody funny.
#DeadpoolAndWolverine #LFG
Jesus fuckin' Christ.
If MCU X-Men has even half the heart that X-Men '97 has, it'll still be one of the best things they've ever made.
This show has no right to be this good.
No right.
Absolutely broken after that. 😭
If someone had sent this to me without any context whatsoever, I totally would have just assumed that was Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.
Surreal.
COMING THIS SUNDAY! 🗓️
Amy Pond has been hiding letters inside books from the past for The Doctor to find years later in the future...

I can't stop thinking about X-Men '97.
I think I figured out WHY it's resonated so strongly with people.
It isn't cynical.
Only weirdos have an issue with political messages in media. What folks are ACTUALLY sick of is Hollywood cynics projecting their misery on to the screen.
X-Men 97 Review:
#XMen97 is sometimes beautiful, sometimes painful, but never without heart... even in its most jarring moments.
I was hopefully, but the story is just so much better than I imagined it would be.
Everyone feels really well developed, and they all fit into the narrative naturally.
Storm, Magneto and Cyclops are the standouts, but Alison Sealy-Smith is truly outstanding as Ororo. #XMen97
I won't spoil anything, but I will say that I did NOT expect episode 2 to end the way it did. I'm excited to see where this goes.
#XMen97 animation falls short... except when it doesn't. Its writing is where it truly shines.
Animation: 6 / 10
Writing: 10 / 10
Overall: 8 / 10
I'm really excited for X-Men 97.
I love the writing here. It's great characterisation.
But I gotta be completely honest, this animation looks... absolutely awful.
It's so charmless and cheap.
They must have had almost no budget.
