Plenty of people who have gone through things like ectopic pregnancy, missed miscarriage, and labor think elective abortion should be illegal.

In other words, abortion is not ctrl+z on a pregnancy.
Consent to sex is consent to pregnancy no matter if you like it or not. You may kill your baby but that just makes you into the parent to a dead child, not magically un-impregnate you. Their cells will remain in your body as evidence of it for the rest of your life. You will never be able to escape physical reality by murdering the human life that was produced through your actions. There will always be evidence that you were pregnant and that your baby existed. You will always be a parent from that point on, you just choose if it's to a child that is alive or not.

1. No. Treatment for ectopic is either methotrexate or laparoscopy. Nobody competent in the medical field calls this an abortion. 2. No. Baby is dead. D&C for a dead baby is not called an abortion. Different CPT code even. 3. No. Baby is dead. 4. No. By definition, the woman already had an abortion, but it was not done in a sterile manner or parts were left behind. Baby is dead, treatment is antibiotics & a D&C to remove retained products of conception. 5. No. Molar pregnancy is a type of abnormal pregnancy where there is either no baby at all (complete), or it has 69 chromosomes & can't survive (incomplete) & is a danger to the mother as it can become cancerous. Similar to ectopic, treatment for a molar pregnancy is not considered an abortion. 6. No. As long as a mother is not septic, expectant management with antibiotics & fluids can be done. But even if a mother must be induced to save her life, the intent was not to kill the child but to save the mother & this is a completely different scenario than elective abortion. 7. Pre-viability (now before 21-23 wks in a tertiary care center) pre-eclampsia is extremely rare. But procedures to protect life of mother should never be equated to elective abortion. 8. Again, pre-viability HELLP syndrome is very rare. Most cases are post-viability & delivery is the answer. 9. The answer for chorio is delivery, you don't kill the baby. 10. The treatment for placental abruption with maternal instability is a stat C-section, fluids, blood and pressors if necessary. Nobody does an abortion for this. Don't trust a pro-abortion cardiac sonographer. Trust pro-life OBGYNs who want to save you AND your baby.
The treatment for; 1.Ectopic pregnancy 2.Incomplete miscarriage 3.Missed miscarriage 4.Septic uterus / septic abortion 5.Molar pregnancy 6.Pre-viable PPROM with infection risk 7.Severe preeclampsia or eclampsia (pre-viability) 8.HELLP syndrome 9.Chorioamnionitis 10.Placental abruption with maternal instability Is an ABORTION! If you are denied an abortion in these situations, you DIE! This isn鈥檛 politics. It鈥檚 medicine!!

Let's set the record straight this year. There are NO laws the prevent physicians from providing life-saving care to their patients.
