Current events make a lot more sense once you accept that demons literally exist & are actively roaming the Earth.

If you seriously believe that events in France are a result of *aggrieved students* you are actually human cattle and you will believe literally anything.

“These aren’t immigrants burning and looting, it’s their sons!” Isn’t the best argument for immigration.

If the French government actually did the sort of things necessary to put an end to this, the Church hierarchy would immediately condemn them as unchristian.
Looked at from the point of view of scripture and Church history, what we are seeing is the natural punishment for apostasy. And that punishment will intensify until people stop deluding themselves that there is any solution, political or otherwise, short of a return to the faith

The point of posts like this is generally to avoid having to call for anything which might actually happen. You just say "everyone just needs to become Catholic", which of course isn’t going to happen anytime soon, and then you don’t have to say we need mass deportations.

“To confiscate the word humanity, to invoke and monopolize such a term probably has certain incalculable effects, such as denying the enemy the quality of being human and declaring him to be an outlaw of humanity; and a war can thereby be driven to the most extreme inhumanity”

Please keep a local Catholic family in your prayers. They have ten children, homeschoolers, and the young father passed away this week.

I will defend "if God real why bad thing happen" up to a point, but this is just embarrassing.
You know, it's hard for me to believe a god exists when the Pope of all people gets lung cancer, and all of the awful war criminals and mass murderers are just vibing away, killing children.

I breathed a sigh of relief when he said “I’m speechless” but then a long gay speech followed
“Schitt’s Creek” star Dan Levy is calling out Shane Gillis' #SNL monologue. "I’m speechless that something like that can exist on live national television. And to be perfectly honest, more men need to be standing up in opposition to it because it’s complacency that has created the environment in which women are sexually assaulted and it’s a ‘conversation’ as opposed to a ‘crime.'" variety.com/2026/tv/news/dan…

Most people place essentially no value whatsoever on whether their religion or worldview is internally coherent. Once you recognize that, it becomes much easier to understand why they find our objections to the Pope’s statements on the death penalty so incomprehensible.

You need to understand that most people cannot even begin to fathom why you would care whether your religion maintains continuity with its historical practice. This may seem obvious to you, but it is completely alien to their entire experience of reality.

John Major, 1993: “Fifty years on from now, Britain will still be the country of long shadows on county grounds, warm beer, invincible green suburbs, dog lovers, and—as George Orwell said—old maids bicycling to Holy Communion through the morning mist” 33 years on and we’re denying it ever existed.

The usual pattern: a older man who never stepped aside for any woman now wants younger men to be discriminated against in selection.
Obama: "If you put women in charge of every government for two years... I have a strong belief that things would be better. I'm confident about that."
