100%. Our LMS in PBC schools are some of the best in the nation and run some truly amazing programs.
School librarians are community builders, innovators, collaborators, and so much more - including one of the best resources a student can have as they navigate the new school year: blog.ed.gov/2023/10/school-l… #BackToSchool

All of this… and they SHOULD provide both mirrors and windows so that you know you’re not alone and maybe develop some level of understanding for the roads others are on…

What an amazing opportunity for Mr Burke to work with one of our most amazing media specialists!

Admins are you surprised by the length of this list? Ms Epstein is amazing, but this is not atypical for LMSs are doing district wide. @EpsteinCaroline you’re 💯 right. It’s not sustainable. Teaching LMSs need planning plus either a clerk or an extra planning period. Thoughts?
This explains why I’m working 10-12 hours daily & beyond exhausted. On top of preparing & teaching 42 classes with 32+ Ss in each, I do all this.. #notsustainable #overworked @pbcsd @DianaFedderman @GFsheffield @Ed_Tierney1 @EducationFL @usedgov @LibraryCurrent @NoRowEdu

The current climate of IM/LMS reminds me of the quote from CD: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” Extra funding means extra much needed materials for S and Ts. Also extra materials means… lots of materials!!
