Fight hard. #Resist with everything you've got. Do try, though, to enjoy yourself. The way we're going, these are the good old days.

This is pretty obvious.
Here’s a question I’ve been seriously pondering years: There’s a mixed martial arts tournament with every fictional movie & TV characters ever. It’s open division (no weight class), bare hand, no superheroes, androids or people with bionic parts allowed Who you got?

When my daughter was trying hard to die of addiction, I sent many, many voicemails and texts in which I expressed my extravagant love for her. She says now that connection & encouragement helped her get clean. Fox is ridiculous for trying to shame Joe and Hunter Biden.

Pro-lifers better get to fostering and adopting. oh? you’re not ready for a child? you don’t have the room? you can’t handle another one? you don’t have the funds? you can’t provide the safe environment? hmm… interesting. Very fucking interesting.

Stating the obvious: but so everyone is clear. It is *absolutely* the case that the very first legislative priority of a Republican trifecta at the national level will be a federal ban on abortions. It will be HR 1.

Definitely do this if you are trying to make it easier for someone to steal your identity.
Sometimes, when I wake in the morning and my husband is dead and my son is at work, the silence in my house is overwhelming. Oppressive. I'm not lonely, but I crave the sounds of human activity. My home was very busy for almost 28 years, and now, this quiet.

I keep reaching for metaphors to describe the physical sensations of grief and falling far short. I have a sensation of falling, but that's not quite it. The ground is rolling and sliding under my feet feels true but not sufficient. Some things just aren't describable.

It's almost always more complex than comfortable middle-class folks like to believe it is.
🧵 1/ Why does it feel like the same crowd that yelled #stayHome is now yelling that unvaccinated low-income workers brought this upon themselves bc they’ve had ‘enough time to get vaccinated’? As much as I wish it was that uncomplicated, I don’t think it is. #covid19

And My God, he fought. Nobody ever fought harder. He promised over and over that he would never end his own life, would not hurt us this way. I always knew he meant it, and I also knew that there could come a moment when the lies depression tells would overwhelm him.

Last week, a post came across my feed from a woman whose husband died and I thought, "That could be me anytime." And now that is me. My beloved is gone. There are no words to capture my grief, nor my fury at the depression that caused his death.

A whole lot of people are in favor of criminals being on the juries at their own trials.
Pelosi's move to reject GOP picks for the 1/6 panel is going to be a gift to Kevin McCarthy in the long run. He wanted this panel to look partisan and political. Now it's definitely going to look partisan and political.
