A flash flood in the Budhi Gandaki River has swept away several buildings in Gorkha.
The flood, carrying mud and debris, originated in the Chumchet area of Chumnubri Rural Municipality-6.
Authorities have urged residents living along the riverbanks to stay on high alert.
A major flood has hit the Budhi Gandaki River, after a landslide reportedly blocked the river in Chumchet, Chumnubri Rural Municipality-6, Gorkha.
As the water level has risen sharply, locals living along the river and in nearby areas have been urged to move immediately.
