“Clocked in for another Friday shift at the comic shop. None of that watered-down, continuity-ruining nonsense. Just pure, classic greatness and a few customers who still don’t understand who the 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 Superboy is.”
“Shift over. Took the apron off like it was kryptonite. Spent the last hour listening to some kid explain why my Earth was ‘retconned.’ Kid, I punched reality until it cried. Your timeline is the fanfic. Anyway, I’m out.”

“Comic store closed. Patrol done. The cape’s hung up and the city’s not screaming for once. Just me at the table with a hot meal and the soft hum of a night that doesn’t need saving. After everything and this quiet hits different.”
“Now it’s steak time. Thick cut, seared hard on the outside, still pink in the middle. Sat down alone with it, plate steaming, knife cutting through like it’s nothing. After a day of counting comics, this is the real reward.”
“Monday’s for the strong. Blue suit, red cape, zero weakness. Looking back over my shoulder like the rest of the universe is already behind me. Enjoy your coffee, mortals. I’m enjoying the view.”
“City lights look small from up here. Another quiet night, another city that doesn’t know how close it came. I’m already airborne, cape cutting through the cold air, scanning every rooftop and alley. Don’t thank me. Just stay out of the way while I keep it that way.”
“Sitting outside at a cafe on my day off. Ordered the biggest burger they had and a chocolate milkshake. No one recognizes me. Peace is underrated.”
“Sunday well spent. Hit the stores, cleared the shelves of everything worth having and now the fortress is restocked. Gravity feels optional when the bags are this light.”
“Saturday patrol check-in! Clear blue skies, perfect flying weather and zero trouble so far. Just me, the open air, and the whole world looking up.
Not gonna lie, I look pretty good doing this.”
CK smiled giving a nod, offering a bottle of cola to Jessica, a chuckle escaping his lips.
“I bet. I bet you have many stories, honestly I’d be down to hear it. Other than me trying to live life and not break the multiverse.”
“Browsing the new releases, plastic bag rustling in my hand, the familiar weight of a fresh comic against my palm. Today I’m just CK, hanging out where I belong. Have a great Friday.”
“Just touched down in Star City and wow! The skyline hits different in the afternoon light. Golden hour over the bay, boats gliding past and that big bridge stretching out like it’s posing for photos. Feeling pretty lucky to be walking these streets today.”
“Nothing hits quite like a good meal and then punching through the clouds. Breakfast done, cape on, fists ready. Superboy’s on the clock. Sky’s clear and so am I. Time to make the day count..”
“Long day. Good dinner. Now I’m back in the apartment, feet up, stack of comics on the table. No crises. No multiversal nonsense. Just the stories the way they were meant to be. This is the closest thing to peace I get.”
“Day after a full shift and I feel incredible. Shelved every single classic Superboy issue myself, argued three people out of buying the wrong Superman run, and closed up with the store looking perfect.”
