I’m from the middle of nowhere where tons of people have 30-06. Most of my friends. Everyone deer hunts with 30-06 unless their hunting with dogs and a 12 gauge. So I was/am a big 30-06 skeptic.
But I understand (to your points) frangible and varmint rounds make it more possible
And since I can’t come up with a reasonable explanation of what DID happen (if I’m making the case the official story is 100% false) - I’m simply going to wait for the trial and see what comes out- Iike a sane person.
+90% of the people saying 30-06 prob don’t shoot guns. They just watched some demos of 30-06 FMJs. And want to shitpost/engagement farm.
It was the only reasonable point to address early on imo. But grifters and charlatans used ONE legitimate issue - to run with 7 months of crazy theories about Egyptian planes, Ft Huachuca, French foreign legion, ancient Sumerian tech and time travel. Etc etc.

I took my Original Cr2 images ( No dead zone),
extracted the Preview (Jpeg) and Re-inserted into the CR2.
The large gap shows (Blue histogram). Synthetic produces deadzone.
It's the simplest logic, reproducible
