A little announcement: I have taken on an absolute DREAM project of mine, which is also very complex and big.
As a consequence, I have to unfortunately close my commissions for probably well into next year. Apologies to folks who have requests up.
If you work with me on a model you better mentally prepare because I WILL send you thirst trap videos from cosplayers and stuff to discuss what kind of hip movements and stuff we could be going for 😂 IT'S FOR SCIENCE I PROMISE!

Discord is about to put your public messages on Google
Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December.
The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out:
User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.”
In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default.
Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.

I think this is the stance to take also. In my personal opinion, if you have paid for and received a commission from what now turned out to be a broker, you should still use it. You didn't know. You don't deserve to lose that because of other bad actors.
Regarding the VGen broker purge, I hope people can extend some grace to those who unknowingly commissioned these accounts.
Not everyone knew these brokers existed, much less how to recognize the warning signs.
These were people who went to a platform believing they were supporting artists and commissioning art ethically. They were trying to do the right thing and were deceived.
Some people may initially feel defensive or embarrassed when they realize they were fooled, and it can be difficult to admit that. We should respond by educating people about the warning signs rather than shaming them for being scammed. Direct your frustration toward those who exploited that trust, not the people who acted in good faith.
