In Ukraine, this day began and ended under attack. In the morning, russia struck cars on the Kyiv–Odesa highway. During the day, they dropped aerial bombs on Kramatorsk and launched drones at Kyiv. By evening, they were striking Kharkiv. Even the operating room of the Strazhesko Institute, a heart hospital that saves patients from across the country, came under fire. A Russian strike hit an operating room at Kyiv’s Institute of Cardiology, Prime Minister Koretsky said. It was the second attack on the institute: last year, its fourth floor was damaged; this time, the strike hit the sixth floor, where the operating room is located. At least one patient was injured.
