Every infection avoided is one less illness to face and one less recovery to go through. Prevention is most effective when multiple protective measures work together. Masking, improving indoor air quality, testing, vaccination, and reducing exposure in shared spaces all play a role in limiting the spread of respiratory infections. Making prevention part of everyday life helps protect ourselves and our communities. #PublicHealth #COVID #COVID19 #InfectionPrevention #DiseasePrevention

England’s 2026 guidance recognises importance of ventilation, monitoring and air cleaning in schools. Yet the Government has no plans to update BB101. How will evidence translate into stronger standards for healthier classrooms? Our open letter. What happened next…👇

Okay, I'm breaking character here. This is not a satire post. My 2-year-old son is in a wheelchair that we can't fit into our car. We are not eligible to apply for a wheelchair accessible vehicle until he is three--and even then we would have to pay about £13,000 towards it (which we don't have). The idea that disabled people get given free cars willy-nilly is bullshit. My son has to attend regular appointments at various locations. He has a team of specialists dedicated to helping him with an extremely rare neurological condition that means he needs around the clock supervision. He can't even hold his own head up so a regular car seat is out of the question. He was using a baby seat, but he's outgrown that. It's really tough for us to get around because misinformation from pricks like Nigel influences public opinion. Does this seem right?

Finally @UKHSA have admitted; ‘The virus can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. These particles range from larger respiratory droplets to smaller aerosols’ @CovidJusticeUK @covidinquiryuk

Today, people will kill other people by giving them covid. Today, people will disable other people by giving them covid. It's the simple truth. If you don't like it, it's still true. If you don't want it to be true, it's still true.

Surprising message of the day! Eliminating infectious children from the classroom helps the individual child to recover, and it protects everyone else from infections. Well done this preschool! 👏👏👏

143 Covid cases in Welsh hospitals, 101 were patients who didn’t have it when they were admitted. But who cares right! Covid’s only killed tens of millions & disabled hundreds of millions. It’s not like it’s serious or anything.

The South has now been hit with the rise seen everywhere else, though it's piecemeal. Cornwall, Dorset, and West Sussex are all above the national average. 3/6

Did you know that, in the aftermath of the 1918 flu pandemic, deaths from cardiovascular diseases soared and continued to rise for over 40 years? From 1960 onwards, deaths from heart disease steadily declined as the younger age groups infected during the pandemic gradually died.

This phenomenon of delayed deaths from post-infection sequelae is not new. We also saw it following the 1918 flu pandemic, as this Australian data shows. Just as deaths from most other causes plummeted due to medical advances, deaths from heart disease exploded after 1918. 👇🏻

ABC = Anything But COVID. We’re headed into a pretty nasty COVID wave with positivity rates soaring. But you won’t hear the UKHSA or media mentioning it so the vast majority of the population are blissfully unaware. It’s just bizarre how COVID has become such a forbidden word.

A friend’s child is down today with a nasty flu-like illness. Another friend was at a conference where speakers and delegates were talking about the same thing: a flu-like illness lasting two or three weeks, with some of them still suffering from it now. Are we really still pretending covid disappeared because we stopped talking, testing and reporting on it?

There’s a Covid wave RIGHT NOW. Sept 2026. If you are sick, or know others who are, there’s a fair chance it’s Covid. Crazy right? Given it doesn’t exist anymore. Absolutely crazy. (Not really… it never went away, the testing & report of it just did).

I don’t get it, I just don’t. Why do we vaccinate widely against ‘flu, yet almost ignore covid. The eligibility list is ever smaller and people have to pay £100 to get a private vax in the uk. I would like to know why this is.
Clever!

Credit to @BarryGardiner MP for raising air quality in schools at the UN today. @SadiqKhan's work is a welcome first step. But *all* children deserve clean air. 1/2

Around 30,000 people have shortened lives due to air pollution - and that is not including the impact of airborne infections The time to act is now. The science is clear. The costs of improving indoor air quality will be rapidly repaid. We must improve indoor air quality. 2/2

Why should we clean the air in schools? - Reduces pollutants which cause asthma, multiple cancers, and dementia. - More resilient to airborne disease and pandemics We need health-based standards for air quality in schools. Fund ventilation filtration and maintenance. #HIAS2026

PANS/PANDAS mechanism just published: (They studied strep but it's not limited to strep, I've seen many cases from bartonella) Strep → IL-17A → microglia → leaky blood-brain barrier → sudden personality changes, OCD, tics, & many more. For 20 years parents were told it was psychosocial. It was inflammation due to an infection. It always was.
