The unfortunate truth of this post 😡😡😡😡😡
As long as Trump gives his supporters permission to be their worst selves, they will let him steal their last penny.

We want to take this time to send prayers to the parents and family of Nolan Wells, as today would be his 19th birthday. There is still no information regarding what actually happened to him. 💔 As a community, we are not letting this go. Justice

Glad to see the Supreme Court protecting the American people's right to vote. Let's be clear: Vote-by-mail remains safe and secure, and we will not let Donald Trump rig our elections.

Jon Ossoff: “I want the president’s remaining supporters to hear this because it was all a lie. They made you pay more for everything and took us to war on lies and spent most of last year trying to cover up for the world’s most famous pedophile while the crook president and his crook family raked in billions.”

Montgomery's bus boycott ran for 381 days. It needed cars, gas, insurance and drivers — and money that could not be traced to anyone who could be fired for giving it. A cook solved that problem with pound cake. Georgia Gilmore. She had testified in court about being thrown off a bus, and lost her job for it. Dr. King helped her set up a kitchen in her own house. Then she organized women across Montgomery into a fundraising operation she deliberately named the Club From Nowhere — so that when the money arrived at mass meetings, nobody could be identified, targeted, or sacked. They sold sweet potato pies, fried fish and pound cake at beauty shops and on street corners, week after week, for over a year. Her kitchen fed the movement and funded the carpools. King ate at her table. Kennedy ate at her table. The boycott is remembered as speeches and lawsuits. It ran on pie money from women nobody was writing down. Georgia Gilmore’s story is one of the many stories in black history that is never spoken about. Black history is not only about the famous names. It’s also about the people whose courage, sacrifice, and stories were nearly forgotten.

Could new bus shelter roofs help New Yorkers stay cool in extreme heat? We're testing a few in Brownsville to find out: a green roof covered with native plants, and reflective roofs covered with low-cost, heat-resilient film. When it comes to climate change, we're using every tool at our disposal — including everyday infrastructure — to keep New Yorkers safe.

In the midst of the largest and deadliest measles outbreak in America in 35 years, RFK Jr. chose to spend his time today addressing the premier vaccine-denial conference in America. He needed to say one sentence: I urge all Americans to get the measles vaccine now to protect themselves and their families during this deadly outbreak. Yet he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Instead, he pushed a narrative that continues to stoke fear and mistrust.

THIS ISN’T RIGHT!😡🤬 Watch and Listen! Senator McConnell is called. He replies: “No.” Then Sen. Boozman leans in and tells him “Aye.” An aide also jumps in to say “aye.” McConnell’s name is then called AGAIN. McConnell then says: “Aye.” This is not a senator voting. This is a man being prompted like a prop so a bill can pass committee.
