More active than usual on Twitter today because of Shirou Day, so I'm logging on here to encourage everyone to give Fate/Stay Night's Visual Novel a go. It's incredible well written and you can buy it (and its sequel) on Steam RIGHT NOW and its currently on a 40% discount!

I think Nier and Fate actually have a good bit in common (including how confusing it can look to outsiders) so I would really recommend giving Stay Night a go. It holds a really special place in my heart and yes Shirou is the absolute GOAT

All the Nier stuff I got in Japan MINUS the Emil Ice Tray - but here is some Emil ice as penance! If you're looking for Nier merch in Japan (or want to pre plan for the future!), Square Enix store actually didnt have too much Nier stock. HIGHLY recommend Kotobukiya, Kbooks and-

I think it probably goes without saying that I bought a LOT of Nier stuff. Biggest surprise to me was the sheer amount of Reincarnation things I found about - and I'm very glad to have gotten some while I could! Also KBooks Ikebukuro had a TON of DevPop stuff so its mine now

There was a LOT of Rein merch, I assume because they released a fair bit before EoS and a lot of it isn't really shifting (a fair amount was discounted - glass included!) The only character I didn't see as much merch of was 2B and weirdly Adam??? Yet a lot of Eve stuff??

Something else I noticed was you would see Adam and Eve separated a lot but NEVER Devola and Popola. Weird observation I guess ! Also, stop by the Artnia cafe in Shinjuku because its actually really nice. As mentioned before, not too much Nier stuff but its a lovely place!

(Also got the Emil ice tray and Song of the Ancients music box, Square Enix's merch is a lot cheaper here than overseas!)
