11/06/26 – I spoke with Glenn Danas, partner at Clarkson Law Firm, @ClarksonLawFirm about the class action lawsuit against Breakdown Services involving its Actors Access casting platform.
The lawsuit challenges alleged “pay-to-play” practices, including claims of false advertising, unjust enrichment, and unfair business practices affecting actors seeking auditions and employment opportunities.
Danas discusses the allegations, how actors navigate the casting platform, and whether these practices could potentially raise broader antitrust concerns in Hollywood.

Today I learned a term called 'Delayed Selfhood': When a child lives in a high-stress survival mode, their brain prioritizes the amygdala (the fear center) over the prefrontal cortex (the social and emotional learning center). When that person finally reaches a safe place in adulthood( financially or physically ), the "freeze" thaws, and they suddenly have to learn things like social cues or how to trust that others learned at age five.. 1//3

Many Caribbean people grew up in school systems where reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar, dictation, mental arithmetic and proper written expression were emphasized from an early age. Particularly in former British colonies, formal English instruction and rigorous examinations were deeply embedded in the educational experience.
Look at his vocabulary words-they could easily stump some of you 3x his age who dont come from a culture of intellectual traditions.

Katt Williams is touring for his new book, Nine Lives, No Wives, And 69 Concubines, when while being hosted on stage by Kenan Thompson, some members of the audience got mad because they thought it would be a stand-up comedy show. Kenan deals with the crowd then Katt chimes in as only he could.
