Greatest debut albums of all time? Here is a contender. Few albums, let alone debut albums, stand the test of time quite like Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory. Chester had an unrivalled voice in his genre. Oof.

It'll either be Doom, X Wing vs Tie Fighter or... I remember there was a game where it was basically Doom meets Breakout.

So they've made Ghost Recon into a battle royale. Is this instead of a single player Ghost Recon? Or in addition to? I loved Wildlands and Breakpoint and was looking forward to another... 🙄
Twitter seems to be gangs of people trying to 'out-extreme' one another. Attempting to be fair and balanced these days, and trying to see 'both sides', simply means you're hated by 'both sides' for not totally agreeing with them. Even asking a question is seen as a threat. Scary.

I'm actually cold today... I thought it was supposed to be August on Sunday?
One of the earliest games I remember playing and obsessing over was Marble Madness on the NES. There was also Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that Disneyworld game (something something Magic Kingdom I think?) and Double Dragon. Oh and X-Wing vs Tie Fighter

The internet reacts to the Steam Deck. trib.al/Z4TqxTg
This will likely be a niche product to begin with, but as the price starts to drop (if it does) this could be huge for the industry. Shame about the screen on it, but it's a great first step!

Steam's new handheld gaming PC will let you install other storefronts and even replace the operating system with Windows. trib.al/3b09bRo

You can install Windows on a Steam Deck and possibly other game storefronts too

Unlike the Nintendo Switch, the Steam Deck will be an open platform that lets you do whatever you want.

This game is janky even on PC, but it is some of the most fun I've had in a game in a long time. The fact it still has the ability to do this even after all the negative press goes to show 1. how good the game is and 2. the angry mob are often ignored when it comes to vidja gamz.
