You don't know... although I bet that at least some of those artists who made that turn probably had the same pure instincts: they wanted to stick to their stylistic & sonic roots & then they said, "Let's become millionaires & we can listen to what we really like in our villas."

The thing is, most people who claim they would never do it have never been in that position. How would they react if their career suddenly took a turn like that? 3/4

…suddenly everything changes not only does your career take off again, but u also start earning amounts you never even dreamed of.. Well, from the outside it’s easy to say, “I would never betray my roots,” and all that blah blah. 2/4

It’s easy to criticize artists who supposedly sold their soul to the devil by making commercial music. But imagine your career declining while trying something different & then… 1/4

if the dj dances more than the crowd theres something wrong.

Congrats @aegeanairlines you just made 2 vegetarians have meat because your stuff didnt whats inside the food. Un acceptable

Its - at least- sad to see legendary dj’s share the booth and praise marketing made dj’s. Those are the ones who should condemn all these social media / image made DJs and show to the people real lovers of music.

For years now i thought that we only see what China let us to see. After visiting China i am not so sure. Might be our western world that they don’t want us to see how developed and advanced is China.
