5-6 Days of Rolling 🛼 One Day of Mowing. In Iceland #rollmoremowless ⛳️💯
What does it take to greenkeep in Iceland?
In our latest Super Series, we sit down with Einar Gestur Jónasson from Leynir Golf Club to find out.
There are around 64 golf courses across Iceland, and golf has become remarkably popular for a country of its size. At Leynir, around 30,000 rounds can be squeezed into a season of roughly six months.
For part of summer, there’s enough daylight to play golf around the clock. When winter takes over, much of that enthusiasm moves indoors to simulator golf.

In this issue of our newsletter, Sustainable Rolling Perfection, we discuss what is available in our premium after-sales care.
Buying a roller is one part of ownership. Parts identification, servicing, technical support and access to the right information matter over the years that follow.
That is why every new Tru-Turf owner receives a welcome email bringing together the key after-sales resources available for their machine: from parts and maintenance information to technical support, manuals and warranty information.

Competition Entry : us18.list-manage.com/survey?… 🎁🎁🎁
Name A Roller! Win a Roller! 🛼⛳️💯
Our rollers are designed in Australia and built in the USA but their real story is written by the people who use them every day.
So, for Thank a Super Day, we want to celebrate the people at the heart of our industry by inviting you to name our new Commercial 40-Inch Walk-Behind Roller.
Some of our existing names carry a distinctly Australian story. Brumby comes from the Australian wild horse — strong, dependable and hardworking. Taipan comes from the Australian snake, reflecting the roller’s smooth movement along the long, winding lines of a fairway.
Now, it’s your turn 🔥🔥🔥
If you work in golf or sports turf, complete our short survey and suggest a name that feels right. It might be inspired by Australian heritage, turf care, rolling, the machine’s purpose or something meaningful from your own experience. Just tell us the story behind it and follow Tru-Turf as part of your entry.
If your name is selected, you’ll win the roller. Because who better to name it than the people it was made for? 😊

Great interest in this new product at the show. Ready for release in 2026. As an introductory unit for a golf course that doesn’t roll or to enhance your current rolling operations, this unit with its 3 x 5 inch rollers will be a great addition to your course maintenance.
Meet Tru-Turf’s Commercial 40” roller 🔥 walking-speed, triple-smoothing precision with a 40” swath, engineered for a beautifully even finish with ultra-light ground pressure (and ballast when you want it).
The best part? Watching attendees feel the difference in real time.

Great to see all the weekend experts making comments on socials. Their only success has been growing mould in their bathrooms!
Another throwing peanuts from the cheap seats. How do we get to a stage where people that think they have a platform can call for an industry pro to get the sack. Many factors that go into a 2 day test. Players, conditions, style of play and the pitch. Its sport. It happens.
There are no players in this #Ashes2025 test match who deserve dumping, none! But the #MCG curator Matt Page should be sacked before this Test is over!!!!
(If that's even possible seeing that the game won't last till 6pm today!)
What a shocking spectacle. He's made some very average bowlers look like superstars. And some superstar batsmen look grade level. Thanks for stuffing up the series and a once great #BoxingDay2025 Test. Appalling. I'm off to the beach. @2SM1269

Rolling, he explains, isn’t just for speed — it’s what keeps the greens smooth, true, and healthy through the pressure of back-to-back events, including the upcoming Dubai Desert Classic.

Article published in the Greenkeeping magazine - September issue 💯
If we truly want to help the people who keep our courses alive, we need to think bigger — about what really eases their workload, lowers their stress, and improves the health of the turf they care for. One of the most effective ways we can do that is to change the conversation from doing more to doing better and working harder to working smarter. And nothing embodies that more than the idea of Roll More, Mow Less.
