Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer: “Am I frustrated and pissed off? You’re damn right I am. But I’m gonna roll my sleeves up and I’m gonna go to work. And I’m gonna solve it.”

#Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer on how he’s handling criticism: “No one likes it. I block out most of it. Some of it gets to me doing this job and having to speak to you guys is part of that. But at the same time, I've got strong shoulders. I know what a great coach I am! I know what this team is capable of, and that's what I focus on.”

#Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer is usually quick to defend WR George Pickens when criticized for inconsistent effort. That didn’t seem to be the approach today. “GP is one of those guys where I don't ever see him really affected in terms of you know the emotion. Does he get the ball? Does he not get the ball? If these guys play a lot of snaps, I think part of it is us rotating those guys through. But he needs to understand that he impacts us in the running game as well. You know, he's got to do the same thing in the run game — picking up safeties and blocking corners — just like Javonte does, picking up blitzes so he can catch balls. That's part of the team-first mindset, and GP does understand that. And you know when he's going, they're going to play soft inside. When he's not going, the safety gets pretty good runs at our backs, and that's going to improve.”

YES or NO: Schottenheimer should give up play-calling duties.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan: “Obviously very disappointing. Frustrated. But at the same time, we got a lot of football to play. We’ve got resolve. We just got to go back to work. We like the players. We like the coaches.”

The Cowboys first round pick next year -- the one likely going to the New York Jets -- is now slotted at 6th overall. The Packers first round pick -- the one likely going to the Cowboys -- is now slotted at 27th overall.

Jerry doesn’t fire coaches mid season unless it’s a complete catastrophe, this is still a 7-9 win team floor regardless

They Blaming Schotty 😂

Makes no sense why Pickens isn’t more involved in the game plan. I love Ceedee, but he just brings a different element that needs to be heavily involved.
