Siakam & Nembhard are returning pillars for this roster. TJ, Obi and Nesmith - all out for long stretches last year - are returning healthy as well. Pacers are adding back their franchise cornerstone in Haliburton. Splash in a top 10 center with Zubac. And now Indy has just solidified its bench by adding Kelly Oubre Jr, a long and versatile wing (who was just a starter for a team that beat Boston in the playoffs).
For those concerned that the Pacers haven’t done *enough* this offseason, let’s be real: this roster projects to be BETTER than the team that went to game 7 of the NBA finals 13 months ago.
Zubac is better than Turner, and I contend that Oubre Jr. is a better overall player AND fit for this team than Mathurin ever was. Drew, AA & Shep have shown tangible signs of growth. And I would rather have the combo of Nesmith, Toppin and Oubre over a big name like Trey Murphy. Depth matters more than ever. I trust this front office.
Congratulations to the Knight brothers!
As a regular listener to ‘The Pacers Post Up’ for the past 12-14 months, your podcast has become a reliably enjoyable component of my overall Pacers experience. So thank you for that…. And keep up the good work!
Hard to believe Ryan and I are heading into our 4th season covering the Indiana Pacers and our 3rd with @BleavNetwork 🤯
We never set out to do anything other than talk Pacers basketball as brothers — something we’ve done our entire lives. The fact that it has turned into something we get to share with the world and specifically Pacers Nation…just incredible.
We’re so grateful to everyone who listens, watches, shares, debates, and interacts with our content. THANK YOU. It means more than you know. 🙏
And a huge thank you to Bleav and @FanDuel for believing in us and supporting what we’re trying to build.
At the end of the day, we’re just two Pacers fans. Nothing more. We absolutely love this team, this fanbase, and everything that comes with it.
If you’ve never checked out The @PacersPostUp, we’d love for you to give us a listen! And whether you’re a longtime listener or brand new, tell us what you want to hear this season. We’re always looking for ways to make the show better.
That said… going to be a HELL of a year.
Let the games begin. 🏆

Absolutely! 💯
He’s the most underrated guard in the league
It’s amazing how differently the NBA perceives talent depending on the name on the front of the jersey.
If I told you there was a guard who averaged more points AND assists last year than:
Stephon Castle
Derrick White
VJ Edgecombe
Jrue Holiday
Immanuel Quickley
Dejounte Murray
All while playing at an All-Defensive Team caliber level, you’d probably be wondering who the hell I’m talking about.
That guy is Andrew Nembhard.
And he might legitimately be the FOURTH offensive option on this Pacers team.
Haliburton, Siakam, and Zubac are rightfully getting their shine, but Drew quietly put up 11 PTS and 7 AST on 5/8 shooting in the first half last night, while playing his usual lockdown defense.
He finished top 7 in the NBA in assists last season, and now opposing teams are supposed to hide their weakest perimeter defender on HIM?
Good luck, Brunson. Good luck, Maxey.
This Pacers roster is a work of art.
‘Atta boy, Bill!
"I'm all in on Indiana."
"I think the Pacers are really scary."
@BillSimmons believes the Pacers are this year's biggest sleeper in the NBA.
Wow. I just had respect for something Perk said….
Gonna get myself a lottery ticket
“I would like to issue a public apology, because, young man, you are one of them.” 😳
@KendrickPerkins explains what made him change his mind about Tyrese Haliburton.
Great analysis & discussion from Brad & Ryan.
Hali is back 🔥And Zu looked every bit the top 10 center we traded for 🔥
