The supporters have been vocal about the importance of Open Cup all season. In conversations with the team and players, it was not a secret how much we value Open Cup. This performance tonight was not just disappointing but unacceptable. Lack of effort, lack of care, whatever it may have been, but a token acknowledgement of midweek traveling supporters as you head to the locker room is pitiful. "Open Cup is the expectation" was something we heard time and time again, but it appears the players either didn't hear that too, or just chose to ignore it.
