Humans derive a lot of their emotional attachment through physical touch and taking that away is cruel and neglectful. I think that becoming essentially roommates is an awful fate that befalls a ton of relationships.
Its understandable if you feel like intimacy is a chore. We've all been tired, stressed, or sick. But your partner has physical and emotional needs that you promised to fulfill in exchange for exclusivity and love when you agreed to get together. You dont get to neglect that if you can help it. Modern life is busy and crazy and sometimes it feels like everyone demands too much from you. But thats why you lean on your partner. You owe it to them (and they to you) to never let your intimacy grow complacent!

I want to normalize talking about your mental health. I want people to be open about their struggles.
But if that's all you do, then I can't help you. It comes to a point where it seems like you are choosing not to work on yourself, as harsh as it may sound.
I know it's not everyone. I know there are people who truly can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I fought and nail to get my mental where it is now.
Only talking about the negatives does eventually start affecting the people around you emotionally. Coming to me only to complain or only with complaints is exhausting, and I'm tired enough as it is on my own.
I'm sorry, but I will choose myself over you. I will choose to protect the peace I fought for if it comes down to it.
