Hi @TeamYouTube — URGENT HELP! I’ve submitted the form you sent and also replied to your DM, but I’ve had no response so far. My channel is live and public, but I have zero access to it — Studio shows “no channel” and I can’t manage, upload, or interact with my own content at all. This is now urgent and impacting my ability to operate my channel. I’ve followed every step requested by you and haven’t received any update. Can you urgently escalate this to the internal team and confirm my case is actively being handled? Check your DM now?

Hi @TeamYouTube, Could someone please help bring this to the urgent attention of the @TeamYouTube support team? I responded to your DM over 24 hours ago, completed the requested verification, and provided all the requested details (including my YouTube Channel ID and linked email). Since then, I haven't received any reply. This is an urgent issue as I'm currently locked out of my YouTube channel despite being the verified owner. Could someone from @TeamYouTube please check my DM and continue the case? Thank you in advance for your promot and urgent acction. 🙏

Hi again @TeamYouTube , I have another important finding that I hope will help your investigation. For background, my original YouTube channel @nickjonsson was accidentally deleted and later restored. The channel is now publicly visible again with all 237 videos, 10.8K subscribers, and the original @nickjonsson handle intact. However, since the restoration, I have completely lost owner access to the channel. I have already shared several screenshots earlier with you showing that: The public channel is fully restored. YouTube Studio does not recognize my channel. My Google Brand Account page is broken and returns a 404 Not Found error. My Google account is shown as "Nick Jonsson – No channel" even though the public channel exists. I have now discovered another symptom. When I try to perform even basic YouTube actions, such as liking or commenting on a video, YouTube again behaves as if my account has no existing channel. Instead, it prompts me to create a completely new YouTube channel with a randomly generated handle. I have attached another screenshot showing this behaviour. This makes me believe even more strongly that this is not a user-side issue, but that the ownership association between my Google account, the Brand Account, and my restored YouTube channel has not been repaired correctly during the restoration process. Could you please have the engineering team investigate the backend ownership association for channel UC89ILnfTCNXm97qCZzbWonQ (@nickjonsson) and restore owner access to my Google account ([email protected])? Thank you very much for your assistance. We truly appreciate your help and hope this additional information helps you identify the root cause and fix this permanently.

Hi @TeamYouTube , After extensive troubleshooting over the past couple of days, we now believe this is not a user-side issue. Based on everything we have tested, it appears to require investigation and repair by the YouTube/Google backend engineering team. To help your investigation, I have attached four screenshots that clearly demonstrate the problem: 1. The public channel @nickjonsson is fully restored and publicly accessible with all videos, subscribers, and the original handle intact. 2. My owner Google account is prompted to create a brand-new YouTube channel instead of opening the restored one. 3. The Google Brand Accounts page only shows a generic "Brand Account (limited to YouTube)". 4. Clicking that Brand Account results in a 404 Not Found error, so I cannot access Brand Account management or permissions. Our current findings are: - The public channel @nickjonsson is fully visible. - All 237 videos are present. - The channel has 10.8K subscribers. - The original @nickjonsson handle is intact. - However, when I sign into the owner Google account ([email protected]), YouTube Studio does not recognize the restored channel. - Under YouTube Account > All Channels, my Google account is shown as "Nick Jonsson – No channel", even though the public channel is live. - The Brand Account management page returns a 404, preventing access to permissions or management. Could you please verify which Google Account and Brand Account are currently associated with channel ID UC89ILnfTCNXm97qCZzbWonQ (@nickjonsson)? We believe the channel itself has been restored successfully, but the ownership association between the YouTube channel, the Brand Account, and my Google account has not been restored correctly. Could you please escalate this case to the appropriate engineering team and repair the backend ownership association so that the restored channel is once again linked to my owner Google account and accessible through YouTube Studio? This channel represents many years of work, huge financial investment, more than 10,000 subscribers, and 237 published videos, so restoring owner access is extremely important to us. Thank you very much for your assistance. We appreciate your help and look forward to your update.

Need URGENT Help! @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @CreatorLiaison @YouTubeInsider @YouTubeTV @YTCretadores @YTCriadores @YTCreatorsIndia @YTCreatorsJapan @YTCreatorsDe @YouTubeIndia @YouTubeJapan @YouTubeKorea @YouTubeLATAM @YouTubeMusic I'm following up on this issue as we have not yet received a response, and the problem remains unresolved. This has now been ongoing since Monday, and we have made multiple attempts to contact YouTube Support. Channel: youtube.com/@nickjonsson Current status ✅ The channel is publicly visible. ✅ All videos have been restored. ✅ The @NickJonsson handle is correctly attached. ✅ Nick Jonsson is listed as the Primary Owner of the Brand Account. However ❌ Signing into YouTube prompts "Create Channel." ❌ YouTube Studio reports "No Channel." Additional findings The Google Brand Accounts page for the owner's account now returns a 404 error (attached), and the previous Brand Account URL also returns a Google 404 error ("The requested URL was not found on this server"). This means the owner can no longer access the Brand Account at all, even though the YouTube channel itself is publicly visible. This strongly suggests that the channel restoration was only partially completed and that the Brand Account, or its internal ownership link to the owner's Google account, is missing, corrupted, or was not fully restored. As a result, the owner cannot: Access YouTube Studio Manage the channel Upload new videos Respond to comments Perform any administrative actions The public YouTube channel exists and all content has been restored, but the owner has completely lost management access. This is an established channel with more than 10,000 subscribers, built over many years through the dedication of a full-time team. It represents years of hard work, hundreds of videos, and a substantial investment in producing high-quality content. While we are grateful that the public channel has been restored, our team is heartbroken that we still cannot access or manage the channel. We urgently need your help to restore full ownership access so we can continue serving our audience and operating the channel. This appears to be an internal ownership/account-linking issue rather than a user account problem. Could someone from the YouTube engineering team please investigate the internal ownership mapping between the restored YouTube channel and the owner's Google account, restore the Brand Account if necessary, reconnect the channel to the owner's Google account, and provide an update as soon as possible? We would greatly appreciate confirmation that this case has been received, is being investigated, and an estimated timeline for resolution. Thank you for your time and assistance. We sincerely hope this can be resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you Nick and Melvy.

@TeamYouTube We have gathered additional evidence that this appears to be a backend restoration issue. The YouTube channel (@nickjonsson) has been successfully restored publicly. All videos, subscribers and the handle are present. However, the owner cannot access YouTube Studio, and the channel does not appear under Switch Account. The Brand Account also appears to be corrupted. In Google Brand Accounts, it is only listed as a generic "Brand Account (limited to YouTube)." Clicking it opens a Brand Account URL that returns a 404 Not Found, so the Brand Account management page cannot be accessed and permissions cannot be managed. This suggests the restored YouTube channel is no longer correctly associated with its Brand Account or the Brand Account object is corrupted. Could you please escalate this to the YouTube/Brand Account engineering team to repair the Brand Account and reattach the restored YouTube channel to the owner's Google account? This appears to require a backend fix rather than a user-side configuration.

Thank you @TeamYouTube. I deleted the earlier post containing my email address, as per your suggestion. I think there may be a misunderstanding. I believe that I am already the Primary Owner of the Brand Account "NickJonsson", but I still cannot access YouTube Studio for @NickJonsson. Channel ID: UC89ILnfTCNXm97qCZzbWonQ The channel is live with 10.8K subscribers and 237 videos, but Studio returns: "You don't have permission to view this page." One important detail: this issue started after the channel appeared to be removed/deleted and was later recovered following guidance from TeamYouTube. Since then, the public channel has returned, but the ownership/Studio access appears to be disconnected. I can see the Brand Account, I am the Primary Owner, but the channel itself does not appear under my YouTube channels. Could you please investigate whether there is a mismatch between the recovered channel and the Brand Account ownership, or whether the channel is currently linked to another Google/Brand Account? This may require a deeper review of the channel ownership and account linkage. Something that I need your help with. Thank you for your help.

Hi Team @TeamYouTube, We are experiencing an issue with a restored YouTube channel and would appreciate your assistance. Timeline of events: • The channel owner, Nick Jonsson, accidentally deleted the YouTube channel. • The channel disappeared publicly. • The channel was then restored through Google Brand Accounts (myaccount.google.com/brandac…). • After the restoration, the channel became publicly visible again. • All videos, channel content, and the @NickJonsson handle have returned successfully. Channel URL: youtube.com/@nickjonsson Current status: ✅ Channel is publicly visible again ✅ All videos are available ✅ Brand Account exists ✅ Nick Jonsson is still listed as Primary Owner ✅ @NickJonsson handle is still attached to the channel However: ❌ When logging into YouTube with the owner's account, YouTube shows "No Channel" or "Create Channel" ❌ YouTube Studio cannot access the restored channel ❌ Switch Account does not display the restored channel Could you please check whether the restoration process has completed successfully and whether the channel is properly linked to the owner's account? Thank you for your help.

Hi @TeamYouTube , I'm following up on this issue as we have not yet received a response from you, and the problem remains unresolved. This has now been going on since Monday and we have kept trying to reach you for support. The restored channel is publicly available, but the owner still cannot access it through YouTube or YouTube Studio. Channel: youtube.com/@nickjonsson Current status: ✅ Channel is publicly visible ✅ All videos have been restored ✅ The @NickJonsson handle is attached ✅ Nick Jonsson is the Primary Owner of the Brand Account However: ❌ The owner is prompted to "Create Channel" when signing into YouTube ❌ YouTube Studio reports "No Channel" ❌ The restored channel does not appear under "Switch Account" This appears to be an incomplete restoration or an internal account-linking issue. The channel exists, but the owner's account cannot access or manage it. This issue has now been outstanding for several days and is preventing us from managing the channel, publishing new content, and accessing YouTube Studio. Could someone from the YouTube team please escalate this and investigate this case and provide an update as soon as possible? We would appreciate confirmation that this request has been received and is being worked on. Thank you. We look forward to your prompt response.
