This is giving Loretta Sanchez dabbing at the end of a debate vibes.
Abdul, we were both on the ballot in 2018. I was capable of winning my competitive primary and general election. You lost.
You lost by over twenty points to Gretchen Whitmer and you will lose to Mike Rogers by talking like this.
Everyone in America understands you want to blame all of your problems on Jewish Americans.
But buddy, let me be very clear, I will lower the costs of groceries, ban stock trading for elected officials, stop Trump's abuses of power, and protect Michigan manufacturing.
And you’ll just be a celebrity whining and writing books to get even richer. You’re part of the complainer class, looking for their next book or podcast deal.
Bro, I just want to work for Michigan.
In other news, the Philadelphia Eagles, dirtiest team in the NFL, have proposed playing without officials this season.
Anyway, looking forward to the Weiser/Lopez debates.

This is your digital right to remain silent.
Atlanta resident Samuel Tunick is facing federal prosecution for allegedly using a "duress" passcode to wipe his phone during a border search. This marks the first known U.S. case charging data destruction via a hidden phone wipe feature.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) (not the TSA) attempted to search his Google Pixel phone upon his return to the U.S. through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Tunick allegedly gave officers a specific duress passcode that erased all digital data on the device instead of unlocking it. The device was running GrapheneOS, a privacy-focused Android operating system that supports a hidden wipe feature.
The U.S. Justice Department charged Tunick with a federal statute prohibiting the destruction of property to prevent its seizure. Tunick pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys are moving to suppress the evidence. They argue the border seizure was completely unlawful and claim the government targeted him due to his ties to the "Cop City" environmental movement rather than legitimate security concerns.

Update?
Remember when they said Trump would get us into a full-blown war with Iran?
Times like these should make us all realize how lucky we were to have Trump, his strength and his resolve.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

“As for me, my apology is as follows:
“I stand by my previous defense of Platner. Drunk tattoos and sexting-out-of-wedlock struck me as the most Marine shit ever. I literally know Marines who’ve done both but later grew up and became decent guys. (Hi if you’re reading this!) I still believe in my bones that people like that deserve to have a shot at public office and that our country would be better for it. But the Marines I’m describing were never accused of more serious things like sexual assault.
“People were right to give [Platner] a chance before; and they’re right to drop him now.
“‘But there were so many red flags,’ the argument goes, pointing to the sexting, tattoo, and Reddit posts. Think about that argument for a moment: it means that people should be disqualified from public office for things there isn’t evidence they actually did, just ‘red flags’ from which they can supposedly be divined. Ruling out anyone with Reddit post-level flaws bars millions of otherwise decent people from politics. The only people left are the exact kind of squeaky-clean, McKinsey consultant politicians that [were] the entire point of my Platner article in the first place.
“As I wrote, people are done with the fake, plasticy candidates who’ve dominated politics in the past. I’m certain that’s still the case, regardless of how hard the media commentators try to gaslight you into thinking willingness to look past lesser flaws is the same as defending rape, misogyny, and so on.
Giving people a chance means that sometimes they won’t live up to it. No one should apologize for that.
“I’m not.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Let me know if my Graham Platner apology is debasing and self-flagellating enough 👇kenklippenstein.com/p/my-gra…

Swalwell and Platner were credibly accused of being rapists and Democrats handed them their walking papers.
Donald Trump IS an adjudicated rapist and Republicans handed him the White House.
Any questions?

There is no place in our politics for sexual violence. Not in our party, not in any party. Graham Platner must withdraw from this race today.
This is not what we stand for. Not as Democrats, not as Mainers, not as human beings. For too long, women who survive sexual violence have been told to stay quiet, to protect the men who hurt them, to think about the campaign, the party, the cause. We cannot ask women to trust us with their futures while looking the other way when one of our own hurts them. That ends here.
I believe Jenny Racicot.

Colorado is lucky to have @SenadoraJulie. We almost elected the most progressive Senator in the country with almost no national support from progressive groups against the most well known politician in recent Co history. That’s a testament to her leadership. So proud to call her a friend and a mentor.

House GOP out here cutting ads for Dems:
NEHLS: Affordability? What are you talking about? I'm gonna go there tomorrow. I'm gonna get me a couple of big lobster tails. I'm gonna get me some nice ribeyes.
MT: Do you think the 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck can afford lobster tails and rib eyes and all of that?
NEHLS: Maybe not. Maybe the 60% of Americans don't work as hard as I do.
They have NO IDEA what’s coming in November.
The level of criminality here is breathtaking.
I don’t wanna hear MAGA claim they love this country and are deep patriots when Trump is robbing the country blind. You don’t do this to a country you love.

As a college freshman, my views on the Iraq war started to turn the more I learned about it. I still joined the Army. I still fought in the war I no longer believed in.
I felt- still do- that I owed it to my fellow Americans. 1/2

That if I worked hard enough and sacrificed enough, someday my military career could be decided by the political opinion of a Fox News pundit playing Defense Secretary.
This is heartbreaking. I met Sarah through her work in the land use and harm reduction spaces, and she has been a lion at pushing the state to do more in both areas and to get out of the way of cities who are trying to plug the gaps themselves. Wishing her nothing but the best.
There’s lots I disagree with Massie on. But he took on the status quo, exposed corruption, and led with integrity. It’s a damn shame that those qualities are valued anymore. They’re the only values that can make a country great.
Proud of my friend @RepThomasMassie. To everyone who supported him: thank you. Never give up. The fight for liberty is only beginning.
Courageous move by @SenKirkmeyer . Credit where it’s due.
The commutation of Peters’ sentence, out of fealty to a tyrannical president, to appease his quest for political vengeance, further erodes justice and endangers future free elections. It is a cowardly betrayal of all who have fought to preserve American freedoms.
