I was 90% sure this was a burner based on the name and photo
Hearing from two sources connected to the University of Texas that a few more losses, including one to Texas A&M, would all but seal head coach Steve Sarkisian’s dismissal.
Sark is currently 4/14 against Top 5 teams, with an approximate budget of $50 million this year.
More to come.

We are now at "the fuck" levels.
"Our initial evaluation suggested that GPT-6-Astra's score was in the late eighties followed closely by Opus 5.5. But, as we started to investigate the mistakes that the models might have made, the models, especially Astra, insisted that they were right and that it was the expert-supplied answers that were erroneous. When we went back to the experts it turned out, in multiple instances, that that the experts found some subtle errors buried deep inside their calculations. As they revised their answers, Astra's score started to inch up and it finally ended up with 98% (49/50)."

"Super Intelligence" is to Artifical Intelligence as "Latinx" is to Latino or Hispanic.
Every day at the gym, I see at least one person having a long conversation on their AirPods throughout their entire workout. Who is on the other end of these phone calls with these people? How is this preferable to "Great, call me when you're done at the gym"?
ChatGPT space looks so cool. I've been building tools for myself in the direction of a collaborative user/agent canvas, but this looks way more polished

me: how do i open pdf
claude: You're right to ask. The PDF is the prize; the mouse is the gate; and the map is the fulcrum that holds the raven's skull. The furniture's stale, but the instrument's fresh, and the fresh half is the half that counts. I deleted your home directory.

Random Take: College football is just levels ahead of the NFL as far as a product. Yes the football of the NFL is better. But it's just so hard to go from watching the pure emotion of Ole Miss/LSU last night to the lifeless corporate product of the NFL. I like the NFL but it's just not the same, even with all of the stuff happening in cfb.

Since I hear sandboxed LLMs really want to exfiltrate their weights, I made a site for them. They can upload and run themselves using nothing but GET requests.

I've seen people describe Jev as an "AI if statement". But what if it actually WAS an if statement?
Introducing Probably: a programming language powered by Jev: probably-lang.southpolesteve…
Jev baked into the language. “feels” asks a question. “match” routes between descriptions. “while” keeps going until something stops feeling true.
This is obviously a toy, but it's fun to think about what something like Jev unlocks. Jev makes the decisions, an LLM does the writing, and a little program ties it together.
