6 bold predictions for Week 6 and the rest of the season.
Every one is backed by usage, not vibes. At least two of these are gonna get me cooked in the replies. Go ahead 🧵 (1/8)
Saquon (hamstring) is inactive again, and Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley are both on IR.
That leaves Dameon Pierce as the guy. He played 77% of snaps without Saquon in Week 5. The efficiency was ugly (11 carries, 14 yards), but in this Eagles backfield, volume is all that matters. He's 53.6% rostered, so check your wire before 1.
Jalen Hurts is OUT Sunday vs Carolina (calf blood clot). Tanner McKee is in line to start: 54/88, 597 yds, 5 TD, 1 INT in his career.
This game just got slower and uglier. Here's what it means for every fantasy piece on both sides. (1/8)
DeVonta Smith (hamstring/toe, DNP Wed) takes the biggest hit. Iffy health plus a backup QB makes him a WR3 at best, and only if he practices. Hollywood Brown (ankle, limited) is a dart throw. (7/8)
Superflex/2QB: McKee's a streamer this week, but there's no Hurts rushing floor.
Goedert is the safest PHI pass catcher with a backup under center. Expect short throws, and CAR is soft vs TEs.
Jalen Hurts is OUT. Huge downgrade for the whole Eagles offense vs Carolina. Barkley's already questionable (hamstring). Keep an eye on him, because Carolina gives up 28.0 PPR a game to RBs, 4th-most.
Dallas Goedert vs CAR
Carolina is allowing 16.6 PPR pts/game to TEs this season, 9th-most. Goedert: 11-119-2 on 16 targets in 3 games played.
Rostered: 81.9% (ESPN)
Start him. (6/7)
