Hello @Safaricom_Care yesterday your branches in Nairobi didn’t have ESIM. Today before I could even take a ticket at your Nyali City Mall Branch the attendant tells me I can’t get eSIM anywhere in Mombasa unless I go to Malindi 😭. Malindi is over 100KM from Mombasa!!

You appear to have conveniently ‘forgotten’ that the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act was enacted under the Parliament you presided over as Speaker. Passing legislation is not a get-out-of-responsibility card. If the Act is being misused, the first place to look for remedy and moral responsibility is the leadership that shepherded it into law.
Somebody tell President William Ruto that Kenyans are not fools. Let’s not sugarcoat it. The so-called Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes (Amendment) Act, 2025, is not a law against crime. It is a law against courage. It is the latest weapon in a paranoid regime’s arsenal, crafted not to protect citizens but to silence them. It targets not hackers or online fraudsters, but a generation that dares to speak truth to power without permission, without fear, and without a price tag.

Raila Odinga was a true champion of democracy. A child of independence, he endured decades of struggle and sacrifice for the broader cause of freedom and self-governance in Kenya. Time and again, I personally saw him put the interests of his country ahead of his own ambitions. Like few other leaders anywhere, he was willing to choose the path of peaceful reconciliation without compromising his core values. Through his life, Raila Odinga set an example not just for Kenyans, but across Africa and around the world. I know he will be missed. Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and to the people of Kenya.
