First trailer for ‘THE EYES OF GHANA’, the first-ever film produced by IShowSpeed. The documentary follows Ghanaian cinematographer Chris Hesse who attempts to rescue more than 1,000 films capturing Africa’s fight for independence in the 1950s & ’60s.

HBO Max autoplayed the Green Lantern movie after the latest episode of Lanterns and comparing Kyle Chandler and Ryan Reynolds’ Hal Jordan really is the charisma equivalent of a rocket ship vs a unicycle.

Seen a lot of people mocking Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, based on gifs, or short clips, when the thing is they are out of context. If you watch them within the context of the film they do make complete sense.

They both nailed their roles, pretty much capturing how I imagined both of these characters being when they were younger. Great performances!

According to the new interview, Callum (Robert) and Michael (Ned) are the only two actors to have been involved with the production of the play for 3-4 years! Callum was originally doing a different character, but from the start felt that Robert was a better fit for him.

Callum has a moment near the end of the first act which 100% convinces me of why the memory of Lyanna remains so strong in his mind all the years after her death.

When I was at school, I was taught that in medieval portraiture kings being depicted turning their rings of office was a clue that their position on the throne was unsteady. That is the first thing I thought of when they mentioned Rhaenyra doing that in the book.

Oh man if only there was a canon compliant body focused repetitive behavior that book Rhaenyra exhibited while stressed…damn…

This could be one of those stories that isn’t actually true, and is just a myth that has been spread down the centuries. But, even then it is an incredible detail to include in the type of book Fire and Blood is.

I am so excited to find out exactly what Brendan means by this...

not to throw more logs on the discourse flame but this website is going to fucking implode once the culture war grifters realize THE ODYSSEY is actually Nolan's most explicitly woke and progressive movie just hilariously for none of the reasons they think

I have a question (Spoilers for Fire and Blood and House of the dragon). Now that Rhaneyra has taken KL and Gwayne Hightower wasn’t in the city, is this the first time in the HBO adaptations that a character has survived longer there than in the books?

Both GoT and HotD have killed characters before their book deaths but I am struggling to think of another case of the inverse… Laenor Valyrian is a close example but as he is out of the narrative in both instances (and in books they didn’t find the body) it doesn’t match to me
12
That’s because (as per another commentator) watching HoTD is not about picking who is morally correct, it’s about who is your favourite War Criminal.

House of the Dragon is crazy because Daemon Targaryen does worse things than most characters, but still gets treated like a fan favorite hero.
