Just a reminder that combat disabled veterans are being withheld their duly earned pensions with legislation ready to go and this is the type of stuff our lawmakers are doing #MRSA @RapidResponse47 Please help us @POTUS!

Just 2 years ago Congress authorized the Social Security fairness Act via Discharge petition. $195 Billion.
This law allowed state and local civil servants like teachers, firemen and policemen to receive their social security, retirement and local retirement.
15 X larger than MRSA.
Don't are combat disabled Ch61 Vets deserve the same. It's their earned retirement, nothing more.
Denied simply because they shed their blood on the battlefield.

125 of these veterans die every month waiting.
There is no more time to wait.

Our soldiers get wounded in combat, retire after years of service and earns disability compensation from the VA for what combat cost him. Just for Washington to quietly take it back, dollar for dollar, out of his retirement check.
Thousands of disabled combat veterans are living this right now, watching two earned benefits collapse into one.
This isn't policy. This is a broken promise.
Yesterday, we signed the discharge petition, the final signature to force the Major Richard Star Act to the floor for a vote. Our combat veterans earned both of these benefits the hard way. They shouldn't have to fight Washington to keep them.
With roughly 400,000 veterans, South Carolina is home to more veterans per capita than any other state in the country. Especially here in the Lowcountry, fighting for those who fought for us will always be a priority.
Thank you to @RepNancyMace for listening to us combat veterans who are being denied are full pensions to no fault of our own. God bless you, Ma’am and thank you for having our backs! #MRSA #majorrichardstaract #dischargepetition

I know I’ve been posting a lot recently, but as Fr. Richard John Neuhaus used to say, “it’s a target-rich environment” right now.
The governor of Massachusetts just signed into law a statute that permits abortion up until the moment of birth, as long as mother and doctor give the go-ahead.
Please understand what this means. A fully-formed child, moments before exiting the birth canal, can be eviscerated, chopped into pieces, have its head crushed or skin burned off—all under the full protection of Massachusetts law.
What I found particularly gross was the reaction of the entirely female crowd around the female governor of Massachusetts as she signed this barbaric provision into law. They were clapping and cackling with delight because what can only be called infanticide can now be practiced with impunity in their state.
I’m old enough to remember when Mario Cuomo, the devoutly Catholic governor of New York, admitted that, though he found abortion personally repugnant, he was, after tortured wrestling with his conscience, willing to give it limited protection of law.
How far we have fallen from agonized and conflicted Cuomo to the present governor of Massachusetts and her entourage gleefully applauding the murder of children.

“To care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan…” — Abraham Lincoln, Second Inaugural Address
This is not just a quote. It is America’s sacred promise to those who served. Today, that promise faces its biggest test in decades — and TCAVA (Take Care of America’s Veterans Act) is the clearest, most comprehensive path forward to finally keep it.

Refusing to air a presidential speech to the nation about election fraud seems like a horrible way to convince people you weren't in on the election fraud.

After tonight, it’s even clearer that the Senate should take the SAVE America Act and continue debating it until it passes
Repost if you agree

I have signed the Major Richard Star Act Discharge petition. This needs to be voted on. I keep hearing there is no pay for? Cool. Lets find one! Maybe take 10% of foreign funding or DOW budget? WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO HELP THE VETS YOU SEND TO WAR?

The VA bill this Thursday needs serious changes. I will be signing the discharge petition to bring the Major Richard Star Act to the floor that will ensure it is voted on as a stand alone bill.
All our veterans who served should be fully eligible for disability pay and we should not be offsetting some disabilities to pay for others.
We need to find a way where all our veterans are fully taken care of.

The senate is corrupt.
Too many senators are owned by special interests and corporations. Why do you think they are working so hard against one of the most popular issues in the country? Voter ID. The President understands how important VOTER ID is. FISA is a must pass piece of legislation. The House MUST ATTACH SAVE AMERICA ACT to FISA.

Apparently, arresting Maduro and killing Khamenei were easier than getting a Republican Senate majority to pass the Save America Act.
