lets be real, most of you suck at pathing and controlling your boosty urges so who cares what they do to boost. people still gonna take the scenic route and still gonna tap the boost button while they miss pads and go from 40 to 0 unecessarily while flipping for no reason just to position badly and whiff an ez defensive ball. the drama is insane.

Any program that cannot justify money spent will die. Doesn't matter how much they win. Esports doesn't raise money like athletics. Some programs can be high level and sustainable, most can't. Stop making them unsustainable. – at Valley Hill, NC

Situation: my good friend is a fantastic crafter of the breve cortado. It's a specific drink that requires proper steaming of small amounts of half and half into a small glass. The shop he is now working at only had latte mugs so I asked for a double cortado in order to make it work. I speak to him verbally about the drink across the bar while the person at the register, not properly knowing the drink begins to ring me up. A breve is already a more expensive drink due to the small size and half and half and should, at least here in NC, be around 3.50-4 USD plus tax. While the register person was ringing it up I noticed they were just doubling the drink, which is not how it should be done. I should just be charged an extra shot of espresso. I suggested that to them while they rang it up but they ignored me and ended up charging me 10 dollars for a drink that should have been 6 maximum. Then comes the part where I have to tip. There are about 4-5 employees, but I came specifically for one. My drink was spectacular because of one person, my experience was less than that because of another useless one, poorly trained, with poor judgment or knowledge of the industry they work in. I would have much rather given that 4 dollar difference to the person who brought me to the shop to begin with. Instead they are splitting the tip, which is much smaller, with other people who demotivated me to leave a larger tip. Tell me how tip culture makes sense anymore. I've always been a good tipper, consistent, fair, and non judgmental. But at this point I'm ready to convert to the other side that makes the "evil" argument against it. Bring back the days I can slide a couple bucks to the right person. The food service industry is not good anymore. The people working there expect you to tip but don't do the work. The places that hire them don't train them in excellence. The people who are good get paid the same as those who aren't. It doesn't make sense. Don't chalk this up to "the economy" or "genz being lazy". This is a managerial issue. Pay the good ones more money and have them train the shit ones or fire them. Stop relying on tips to make up the difference. Never seen a worse model. Don't know how people still go to bars and coffee shops and don't hate tipping people who do just the bare minimum. I can no longer tip mediocre service. From this moment on I will only tip those who go beyond my expectations. Let the employer make up the difference or maybe they need to learn to work harder. – at Barker Heights, NC
