During our recent usability tests for @NicelyFormedAI, we discovered that the initial design of our start page was not sufficiently intuitive.
🔴Issues Identified in the Previous Design:
– The starting point was ambiguous. Users were not sure where to start.
– The prompt input was unclear, often overlooked by users.
– Users were uncertain about the outcomes of clicking the template buttons.
🟢Solution:
– We have emphasized the prompt box as the main tool for form creation with AI. To enhance visibility and user interaction, the prompt box has been repositioned to the top of the page, making it the first element users engage with.
– To clarify the function of the templates, we have integrated visual previews. These visuals aim to provide users with a clear expectation of the form's appearance after using a template.
These changed are to be deployed this week and we believe they will significantly improve @NicelyFormedAI 's start page.
These we could measure by monitoring the increase in the number of forms generated using the prompt input, as well as by observing the user engagement with the prompt box following the implementation of these improvements.
