I tore my ACL playing football at university 24 years ago 😱 - I was told by the surgeon who did my repair that it was common in women who play sport due to the shape of our hips. It’s a very painful injury but does get better with time.

Devon’s emergency departments are extremely busy and under intense pressure.
To help staff provide the best possible care for patients, please choose the appropriate service for your needs, such as 111.nhs.uk, a minor injury unit or urgent treatment centre.

12 years ago today @UHP_NHS helped me bring my first child into the world, my son. The greatest blessing is being a Mum. I am incredibly grateful to the NHS for this gift and why I will always feel indebted #NHS #LoveNHS #Firstborn
