Huge thanks to @osseneth for casually gifting me Takashi Murakami’s My Lonesome Cowboy (1998), a 254 cm tall sculpture made of oil, acrylic, fiberglass, and iron, sold as Lot 9 at Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening Auction in New York on May 14, 2008, for the extremely reasonable price of $15,161,000 USD. Such a thoughtful little gesture, truly appreciate the generosity.
