In the process we "learned" about #erlang #behaviors with #dynamic #callbacks (yeah, we coined that name, deal with it 😎).

I don't tweet much about work, but here's something my team collaborated on last summer: smoke-tester. Instead of shelling out to datadog every month for synthetics we built our own smoke test platform on cypress, buildkite for constant monitoring in each region we do business.
In the #microservices era, how can you effectively monitor the stability of UIs powered by many different back-ends? Learn how we #smoketest our interfaces using a tool built on the top of @Cypress_io in this article written by @Savo_92 for our #tech #blog

4 years ago I started working on a stream processing library in Go to be able to process TB of data per day and millions of records per second efficiently. Now it's finally open source: getbaker.io/ We use it extensively at @NextRollDev and it truly is amazing.

Hey, thanks for notifying me. I did see the article yesterday and confirmed we had the same issue. I have a node running on OTP-22 since last night and performance seems on par to OTP-21 with +Muacul 0. Great work!

Great sleuthing work from my team. madvise can be super tricky and the performance cost can be very significant
Come to see how an #erlang #OTP release made a latent #performance misconfig evident, and the rabbit hole we follow into the depths of #BEAM memory allocators (with some help from @garazdawi from @erlang_org) to find it
