I did a test pitch yesterday.
The brief was ‘pitch everything apart form the raise details. No ask, val…..none of these figures needed to be mentioned.
The CEO of Draper University Asra said ‘I actually can’t ask you anything because you’ve told me everything and I totally get it’.
I was the only person that got that feedback out of all 15 pitches which made me feel really good.
The pitch needs improvement but positive feedback makes the progress and changes easier. The foundation is good.
Also, we got a partnership today with one of the biggest names in crypto, and possible the biggest name in the entire world in crypto/blockchain news and media.
All founders that are struggling to see a way out, struggling to make payroll, struggling to hang on in there….DO NOT GIVE UP.
I’m happy to give any founders that are a little further behind me in their journey any advice I can. I’m not an expert but as each day goes by I’m experiencing and working through new challenges so I can advise on things that I’ve been through. Don’t give up. Sell your car if you have to. I did that 6 months ago. Now I’m here.
I went all In on myself. If you can’t do that when you need to, then you can’t really expect anybody else to either.
