When Andy Burnham was a Labour MP he bought a London
flat worth ยฃ215,000 using Parliamentary expenses including a
ยฃ16,644 claim for stamp duty and legal fees including a new
kitchen.
It is now worth ยฃ480,000.
After you weren't allowed full mortgage interest claims on
rental properties, he simply went on to rent the flat out and later claimed public rental expenses for a separate London accommodation.

How is it that so many MP's get paid 80-90k when they go into office and end up becoming multimillionaires.
