So lovely to represent @Mesouk at the Peritoneal Malignancy Institute’s Patient and Carer Day in Basingstoke yesterday. A busy day meeting lots of lovely people at the mesothelioma stand as well as telling my story & listening to some interesting presentations on latest research
Pleased to say my annual scan has shown my two small areas of recurrence are stable and not growing so my next scan will be in two years. Scanxiety always looms large before a scan so it’s good to be able to breath again! #mesothelioma

Last year, our nurses attended 269 support groups – a safe space where mesothelioma patients and their families can ask clinical questions, share experiences, stories (and a laugh) with a group of people who know exactly how each other feels.
