AT&T fell 8.0% to $20.93 and T-Mobile 7.7% after Bloomberg reported SpaceX is in private talks to lease 80,000 cell towers to build a fourth national carrier. Crown Castle, named in the talks, rose 9.1% to $85.97. One headline priced SpaceX as a new rival for carriers and a new tenant for tower owners. 2. LKQ fell 22.5% to $17.42 after weak preliminary Q3 numbers, a CEO exit and a withdrawn 2026 guide. Our math: the $0.50 adjusted EPS midpoint is about 40% below last year's $0.84, and Europe's 4.1% to 5.1% EBITDA margin is roughly half last year's 10.0%. 3. Brent settled at $116.72, up 3.1%, its highest close since April 29 and up 6.2% on the week, after Houthi attacks on Saudi energy sites. Nearly three of every four S&P 500 stocks fell, while oilfield names like SLB jumped more than 7%.

The Wall Street Journal says the US is expected to remove 50% tariffs on some Canadian farm and forestry goods to help Maine Sen. Susan Collins and other Republicans before the midterms. It could come as early as Friday. Scope and timing could change, and cuts could be offset by higher tariffs on other Canadian goods. Collins says nine categories, including products for blueberry, potato, apple, and seaweed producers, will be exempt from US tariffs on Canada. $BE posted record Q3 revenue of $1.24B (+138%) and raised guidance again. The cash flow statement tells a different story. Our math from Bloom's Q3 release: net income was $249M, but operating cash flow was -$27M, after +$226M in Q2. Why: $430M went into contract assets (work booked as revenue but not yet billed), $175M into receivables and $170M into inventory. Customer deposits brought in $309M. Capex jumped to $153M from $52M in Q2, so free cash flow was about -$181M. Cash is still $2.49B. My take: this looks like growth eating cash, not a broken business. The thing to watch is whether those unbilled contract assets turn into cash next quarter.
