Tens of thousands of defibrillator locations are unknown to emergency services. Having this vital information allows bystanders to access defibrillators and step in should an emergency occur.

Today is #restartaheartday where there is a focus on the importance of educating people in how to do CPR and use an AED/defibrillator if they were to come across someone in cardiac arrest. Over the coming weeks we will be focusing on the location of AEDs in the Newcastle area 🫀
Today is World Mental Health Day. At freshers First Aid Society met Lionel the @nsu_nightline owl and Neville the @newcastlenightline bear! Nightline are amazing SU resource for university students. It is a confidential, anonymous listening service for students, by students 🦉🧸
Join us next week where we will be going over the secondary survey, vital observations, and choking! Venue is the same as last week, but Northumbria students can still meet outside the NSU no later than 6:45pm!💚 There will be a social after - info to follow!💚
