I posted this in the comments on your YouTube video---when the Avery supporters say it was NOT POSSIBLE that the single pubic hair was placed in the file, rather than coming from the 1985 rape kit. Is that really true? --------------------------------------- You all are the conspiracy enthusiasts. Can't you come up with "theories" about how a single pubic hair, with a root (also called a "tag") ended up in the Avery 1985 clerk of courts file before it was sent to the lab for further testing? Were there any Gregory Allen pubic hairs sitting in some file in the state, before the single hair was sent to the Crime Lab? Answer: Yes Didn't that same hair, years earlier, show NO ability to test it? Back when that was found, the Lab was already doing DNA testing. They knew they needed a hair with a "tag" to test--and said NONE of the 13 hairs, at that time, could be tested. Does anybody find that contradiction important? Did the Innocence Project know there were pubic hairs, plucked from Gregory Allen, that were sitting in some file? Answer Yes. How do we know this? Because it was the Innocence Project who had pubic hairs of Allen plucked, to be used in HIS appeal. The hairs, after the crime lab is done with them, are returned to the AGENCY having submitted the evidence (here the Green Bay PD). This is not an allegation, as I saw nobody "planting" this hair in the Avery file-- but can I think of a scenario where perhaps the interns working on BOTH the Gregory Allen file and Steven Avery file realized they had a Gregory Allen pubic hair (in his file) and desperately need the alternate suspect's pubic hair to end up in their other client (Steven Avery's file) made sure how the testing would turn out? Would the interns plant evidence to make sure they had their POSTER CHILD for exonerations? Could an appellate attorney do this? Could a cop from Green Bay, wanting to "frame" Gregory Allen for Avery's crime, retrieve and place in the (unsecured) clerk file? The answer is OF COURSE. ALL of these scenarios could have happened--but somehow the general public thinks the lab finding Gregory Allen's hair identified the TRUE ASSAILANT, and there must be ZERO other explanations. Hmmm. So how hard would it be to look in the Green Bay PD case file, open the envelope with pubic hairs, take one, and the rest would be destroyed (but not counted)? WAY EASIER than cops planting blood in an SUV! I have purposely framed the question exactly how Dean Strang framed the question about Lenk and Colborn in MaM--"I didn't see them plant evidence, but can I envision a scenario..." SAME words.
