Strong and thoughtful article on multiculturalism
My friend and Archbishop, @KanishkaRaffel, and my friendly neighbouring colleague, Chief Rabbi Benjamin Elton make a contribution to dealing with diversity. Read and engage!

Every time a form of fundamentalism arises - religious or political - there are victims whose inherent dignity and worth are denied through the abhorrent use of power.
If my approach denies the wonder, purpose, and significance of others and creation - I need to think again.

Shout out to @expedia_au while we had you “you are 0 minutes from talking to an agent” 4 times before one came on line - when the agent did he was really patient and helpful.

Congratulations to @ric_thorpe on his election as Archbishop of Melbourne. For decades, Ric has been a driving force behind church growth in London. Since his time leading the transformation of St Paul’s Shadwell, parishes across @dioceseoflondon have benefited from his strategic drive and energy - as has the wider Church of England in his national role as Bishop of Islington in recent years.
We have so much to thank Ric for. He will be missed here, and he and Louie will leave for Melbourne with our prayers and deepest gratitude.
Newcastle Anglicans remember Pope Francis
Bishop Peter Stuart along with the Assistant Bishops Charlie Murry and Sonia Roulston have paused in prayer this evening to remember Pope Francis and the Catholic faithful in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and Broken Bay.
Thanks!

What a woeful article in the SMH! Praising divisive politics when carefully considered bi-partisan approaches will build a stronger nation.
Greetings and Merry Christmas @BishopNewcastle and @BishopBerwick from @newycathedral where I’m with the Dean @tyroleanlass
I appreciated the chance to reflect on some current issues impacting Anglicans in both our churches.
Great insight for @synod & @churchofengland from the other side of the world with Bishop @NewPlusPeter - Bishop of Newcastle in Australia

This film lasts only 4 minutes and it won an Oscar ...
Intense, but it conveys tremendous reality, empathy and putting ourselves in other people's shoes ...
Knowing how to recognize your mistakes and knowing that others also have their problems and empathizing is precious ...
