Hello All, It seems that someone is mailing "suspicious" letters to lawmakers throughout NJ. Reps. Coleman, Pallone, Mejia, and Menendez all received some kind of parcel that was serious enough to require police and hazmat to intervene. Supposedly, Pallone's office claimed the package contained "white powder", but local authorities said the material was non-hazardous. Further, it seems that these letters are finding their way into the lands of lawmakers across the country. We of the NJLP reiterate our commitment to the Non-Aggression Principle. We whole-heartedly denounce these acts and whoever decided to at terrorize these lawmakers. The initiation of force, or the threat thereof is immoral and never justifiable in a free society. Besides, if you want to scare a politician, just send them a copy of the U.S. Constitution. In Liberty, -DoubleYou Ess newjersey.news12.com/suspici…

Meme Monday: Hello All, After just 5 days (which might be a new historical record) Trump's new Press Secretary, Katie Zacharia has been fired. After a disastrous first (and now, only) meeting with the White House press corps. Zacharia admitted that she never passed the bar and acted in a very unprofessional manner. Clearly, her performance was so upsetting that the POTUS decided to drop her, less she further embarrass the White House. However, this all raises a very serious question: who vetted her? Hello All, Two years ago, a Monroe Township mother was arrested and victimized by a school guard for attempting to bring a feminine sanitary product to her child. The mother, Nadia Baxter, has filed a federal lawsuit claiming the guard attempted to use "lethal force" after she tried to pass along the hygiene product and escort her daughter home once she was barred from doing so. The plaintiff claims that the security footage clearly proves that the offender, officer Michael Marsh used excessive and dangerous force, but he has yet to face the consequences of his actions. Rather, she was charged with numerous crimes, and her daughter lost her standing on the basketball team. If these allegations are proven true in the coming case, then it would seemingly indicate that the Williamstown Police have been protecting a reckless and unqualified officer. In the end, the DOGE project looks less like a meaningful attempt at cutting government spending or employment levels and more like a way to purge parts of the federal workforce likely to get in Trump's way during his second term. buff.ly/wgMtSvp

Why am I running to become Governor of Colorado? Because I believe Colorado's best days are still ahead of us. I'm Eric Mulder, and I'm a proud US army veteran. Serving in Afghanistan as a chaplain's assistant taught me that America works because people from every background can unite around a common mission. The military is made up of cowboys, city dwellers, lifelong residents, recent transplants, and people of every race, faith, and political belief. Despite our differences, we worked together because the mission came first. I believe Colorado deserves that same spirit of shared purpose. To meet the challenges ahead, we must change the way government measures success. Programs should be judged by the outcomes they deliver, not the dollars they spend. Government should be held accountable when it falls short and willing to learn from what works. Communities should have the freedom to solve their own challenges because the people closest to those challenges usually understand them best. Government's job is to create the conditions for success, not stand in its way. The campaign is built on three principles: Affordability, Accountability, and Abundance – the belief that we can produce what is needed - and MORE - to meet the demands of tomorrow. Together, we can build a Colorado where government respects your rights, spends your tax dollars wisely, empowers communities to solve problems, and delivers results that improve people's lives. I believe Colorado's future won't be built by an ineffective, overly intrusive government. It will be built by millions of Coloradans strengthening their communities, solving problems together, and proving that when government gets the incentives right, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. – Eric Mulder, Libertarian for Colorado Governor

Follower Friday: Hello Everyone, The NJ GOP are launching a suit against Rebecca Bennett, the Democratic candidate for NJ's 7th (AKA Sherrill 2.0). The suit alleges that Bennett spent more money than is legally allowed for television advertising this cycle. The allegations have yet to be substantiated and even if proven to be correct (which they likely are) it will only result in a minor penalty. This raises a bigger question; how do you feel about the massive amounts of money being spent in politics? Do you think that it is ok for candidates to spend millions of PAC dollars each term, or do you believe things have gotten out of hand. Sound off below. We will also attach a link to the story so you can read it for yourselves. Finally, remember that if you live in NJ's 7th you are not limited to an absentee congressman or a clone of our Governor. Be Bold and Vote Gold! Write-in Lana Leguía for NJ's 7th this November! In Liberty, -DoubleYou Ess newjerseyglobe.com/congress/…

Hello All, A GOP Super PAC has withdrawn 10 million dollars away from Kean Jr.'s relection bid in NJ's 7th. So, not only has the GOP spent money to prevent other candidates from being on the ballot in NJ's 7th (such as what they did with Lana Leguia's petition), but now they are actively tanking their own candidate. Seems the GOP really wants Bennett to win the race. Luckily, Lana Leguia is still running a write-in campaign this November. There is still a chance to prevent Sherrill 2.0 from going to Washington DC. Be Bold and Vote Gold this Novemeber! Write-In Lana Leguia for NJ's 7th! In Liberty, -DoubleYou Ess Check out Lana's campaign site here: lanaforcongress.com/ newjersey.news12.com/gop-sup…

Thoughtful Thursday: Hello All, We have something a little different this week. Members of the NJLP and the Open Government Advocacy Project have brought to our attention that the State of New Jersey is considering substantiative changes to OPRA. OPRA, or the Open Public Records Act allows everyday citizens to request documents from the government. This allows for citizen oversight into how your tax dollars are being used. These new changes would potentially "ignore anonymous OPRA requests because they want to make it so that anonymous complaints are no longer valid..." and "removes the ability to also claim the right under common law." (R.J. Edgar, NJLP). If these fears are correct this would significantly limit the ability of NJ citizens to get reliable information from a request, thus further obfuscating the actions taken by government officials. We will attach a link to the suggestions, which have a comment link for those who want to voice their opinions. We will also be sharing John Paff's (OGAP) break down of the changes. We know there is a lot of reading, but an informed populace is a free populace. In LIberty, -DoubleYou Ess nj21st.com/2026/10/08/nj-pro…
