Great question. Why WOULD anyone want 4 more years of this?
Illinois ranked 48th out of 50 and received an F in Truth in Accounting’s 2026 fiscal health report. Only Connecticut and New Jersey ranked lower. The state has $166.3 billion in unpaid bills, or $36,900 per taxpayer. Chicago residents face a combined state and city burden of $79,500. Pensions have only 47¢ for every dollar promised, the worst in the country. Meanwhile, neighboring Midwest states fared better. Iowa earned an A. Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin earned Bs. Why would anyone want four more years of this? H/T @truthinacct

With Pritzker's constant railing on Trump, could this be happening in Illinois too?
🚨Virginia Democrats: Preparing for a Coup Governor Spanberger, AG Jay Jones, and NSL4A network are pre-positioning Virginia to delegitimize the federal government and hand authority to the state @DataRepublican lays out the blueprint: NSL4A (ex-military and intel officials) is operationalizing the United Democracy Alliance’s “red lines” for declaring the federal government illegitimate Governors don’t have to sign anything. They just refuse cooperation, let the NGO apparatus do the street work, and transfer legitimacy to Democratic state officials ➡️ Here's what's happening in Virginia: 🚨VIDEO: on 10/7, Spanberger’s statewide Unified Readiness / Emergency Preparedness Summit assembled nearly 1,000 law enforcement and EMS leaders for coordinated planning around “crises” including mass violence and cyberattacks This is also the exact infrastructure you make sure is ready if you expect clashes and a legitimacy fight with the federal government If she declares an emergency, Abigail Spanberger becomes Director of the Dept. of Emergency Management and can call up the National Guard 🚨Graphic with Endorsements: NSL4A “National Security Leaders for America” is credited with running the “United Democracy Alliance" -- engaging in the "blocking" movement of protests, lawsuits, and non-cooperation The ex-military and Intel operatives endorsed the VA Democratic congressional slate, running against @VA_GOP incumbents: ❌ Tom Perriello (VA-5), who ran Soros’ Open Society and gave millions to Indivisible, sat on their Board, remains involved with them to this day ❌ Elaine Luria (VA-2), former rep, defeated after J6 Committee work ❌ Shannon Taylor (VA-1), soft-on-crime prosecutor who received Soros family money The same network writing the playbook is selecting Virginia’s candidates (More on PERRIELLO in REPLY) 🚨Attorney General Jay Jones’ 10-page election bulletin tells local officials to deny ordinary DOJ monitors access, tell federal agents to leave, call local police, document badges/weapons/vehicles, and prepare to challenge subpoenas—while eliminating same-day voter eligibility challenges. (LINK to BULLETIN in REPLY) ‼️Virginia Democrats are engaging in pure preemptive resistance with no specific unlawful federal action identified. It's a classic red-line setup. 🚨This is operational preparation, not theory. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 VOTE REPUBLICAN xitter.cf/DataRepublican/status/…

If we live OUTSIDE of Chicago, lots of our dimes are going to Chicago and they want more. This whole theme of the economic engine of the state needs to go out the window.
Who is stupid enough to spend one single dime in Chicago as long as @ChicagosMayor is there?

If farmers, who of course live in rural areas, mean so much to you, why did you gerrymander rural areas out of meaningful power? That’s the congressional map in the photo, the General Assembly maps are gerrymandered too.
Our farmers need all the support they can get as they continue to suffer from disastrous tariffs and retaliatory trade wars. Here in Illinois, we’re working to expand international trade partnerships and find new ways for our industries to grow together. thetelegraph.com/news/articl…

Had enough government yet Illinois? Is it starting to hurt enough to do something about it? – at Hamilton, IL
Illinois Democrats propose a Illinois 'exit tax' The tax proposal would cost individuals who sell their homes an average of $1335.00. The revenue from this bill would go to the City of Chicago to assist in funding Chicago mass transit Brandon Johnson's public transportation system would be the primary beneficiary. Interestingly, the City of Chicago, would be 'exempt' from having to pay the tax. Illinoisians who want to leave Illinois, would get taxed one final time on the way out, when you sell your house! Illinois already has the highest property taxes in the nation, and this tax would add on the burden. House Bill 3438 would include a real estate transfer tax equivalent to $3.00 on every $1,000 of home value to fund the CTA, according to the Illinois Policy Institute, HB3438 is sweeping transit reform and funding bill aimed at restructuring public transportation governance and policy in Northern Illinois. The tax would be paid on real estate transfers in Kane, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, Will, and 'suburban' Cook County. Current bill Status: The Democrat Sponsored bill was passed by the Illinois Senate but did not go to the Illinois house and has not been signed into law....yet. The bill remains in committee in Springfield and could be called up for a vote after the Nov 3rd election. #exittax #BrandonJohnson #JBPritzker #Movingtax #fairandbalanced

SCAM ALERT! This is just gross gaslighting of Illinois' working-class families. Since 2019, he's raised state taxes and fees on working families 71 times, totaling over $90B in new taxes. 10 tax hikes this year and next. pritzker-tax-meter.bmcosti.c…

This is a stupid lie, @JBPritzker. @DarrenBaileyIL was in the legislature when they passed the data center tax incentive bill - SB 690. Bailey voted no. JB Pritzker signed it into law. Pritzker removed his Press Release from his website, but I found it elsewhere. ilga.gov/Documents/legislati…

When radical Chicago policies dictate terms to the rest of the state, pushback is inevitable. Rural Illinois has had enough of crushing taxation, sanctuary mandates, & the SAFE-T Act. Now, a push to break away and form a new state is on some local ballots. fox2now.com/news/illinois/ne…

"Some counties in rural Illinois want to break away from Chicago– including a couple in the Quad Cities area. Some people in Illinois support a move to form a new state if 33 counties secede from the state of Illinois. The proposal is on the ballot in Warren County, and Steve Winkler is among those spearheading it." fox2now.com/news/illinois/ne…

Way beyond time for a change. – at Carthage, IL
Pritzker says he needs a third term because there’s “so much more to do.” So far it has meant 63 tax and fee hikes that pushed the state tax burden up $85.6 billion and turned the past six years into the highest tax-burden years in over three decades. At the same time, private-sector jobs have barely budged and real wages have stayed flat while tens of billions in income left the state. On top of that, the gas tax has doubled, property taxes are up 27%, and lawmakers just raised their own pay to $101,000. The credit upgrades he likes to cite were paid for with those taxes, not growth. Who actually thinks this record deserves another term? H/T @illinoispolicy
