Master Deputy Pedersen and K-9 Honey took a special visit to Primrose School of North Wilmington where they had an awesome time with the students!
The kids had the opportunity to discover how our K-9 teams help keep our community safe. There were plenty of smiles, excitement, and wagging tails!
Visits like these are about more than just having fun. They're about building trust, creating positive relationships, and showing our youngest community members that law enforcement is here to help.
Thank you to Primrose School of North Wilmington for welcoming us!

Congratulations to our Civil Domestic Violence Protective Order Deputies who were nominated for the IMPACT Award from the Domestic Violence Shelter.
IMPACT stands for Inspiring and Mentoring Peers for Advancing Community Transformation. This award was established in 2018 in memory of Tarica Ann Pulliam to honor and celebrate her legacy of love and service to the community.
This award serves as a commitment to honor lives lost to domestic violence by celebrating individuals who shine a light on the issue and inspire hope and change in our community.
Sgt. Carey, MDS Miker, MDS Paranto, and Detective Meacham were recognized for dedicating their time and talent towards violence prevention and creating an environment where all members of our community feel valued and safe.
