This is Amy Murray. She was a nurse who sometimes worked at a local prison. While working at the prison, she began having an affair with an inmate who was a convicted murderer.
Rather than get a divorce, she poisoned her husband with antifreeze. She then lit the house on fire. If not for the fact that this step failed she would have walked.
Police initially believed the death was caused by the fire itself, but eventually the medical examiner determined that Joshua was deceased before the fire started. She gave him anti freeze in a drink.
Her defense even argued that her husband, Josh, had tried to commit suicide and drank anti freeze after lighting the house on fire. That did not match the evidence though and the police rejected it.
Murray fought the charges for years and then eventually entered an Alford plea. An Alford plea means she did not admit wrongdoing and maintained innocence, but accepted the conviction of a lesser crime rather than face trial and a harsher lifetime penalty.
She nearly got away with it all, and in the end still did not take responsibility. Her final sentence was 12 years, but the plea deal makes her eligible for parole in just 4 years, she has already served 5 of it.
In this case, and in others, the women are finally caught. But how often are these being missed and women not suspected at all?

Women were never oppressed. There was NO oppression. What women call oppression today was just PROTECTION.
Let me break it down for you:
1. VOTING:
Women say "we couldn't vote." But back then, voting was not a right, it was a RESPONSIBILITY. Only people who owned property, paid heavy taxes, held public office, or were drafted to DIE in wars could vote.
100% of the people dying in wars were men. You want to vote to send men to war, while you sit at home safe? Makes zero sense. Voting was linked to the DRAFT. You vote, you go to war. Men understood that.
2. BANKING:
"You needed your husband's signature!" Yes, because by LAW, a woman was LEGALLY PROTECTED from debt. Her husband was the head of household and by law HE was 100% liable for ALL debts she made. If she borrowed and couldn't pay, THEY CAME FOR HIM, not her. Creditors went to jail or lost everything - the husband.
So of course his signature was needed. He is the one who goes to prison if you don't pay.
3. PROPERTY - COVERTURE:
They cry about coverture. Coverture meant when you marry, your property merges under ONE name, the husband's, because there was ONE tax filing per household, not two like today. ONE household, ONE name, ONE tax.
It was not to steal from you. It was because the husband was legally responsible for you. If you got sued, he paid. If you owed taxes, he paid. He took your debts too.
These men had mothers they worshipped and daughters they would die for. They were not oppressing women, they were covering them.
4. CONTROLLING WOMEN'S BODIES:
The biggest lie. Back then there were NO abortion pills, NO condoms that worked, NO diapers, NO formula, NO government money to raise a child alone as a single mother, NO good jobs for women to survive alone.
Who bears the most risk in unprotected sex? THE WOMAN. She gets pregnant for 9 months, she risks death during childbirth, which was very common then.
So what did society do? They made sure women stayed virgins until marriage, and made sure men MARRIED them before sex. That is not oppression, that is PROTECTION from becoming a single mother with 3 kids and no food.
And it WORKED. Single motherhood rate was less than 5%. Marriage rate was 90%. Children grew up with fathers.
Today you have "freedom" - 40% single mothers, fatherless homes, abortions everywhere, and women crying that men don't want them.
There was never oppression. There was a system that understood biology and protected women from the consequences of their own choices.

Jung argued in his 1936 essay 'Wotan' for Swiss journal Neue Schweizer Rundschau, that the German nation was seized by an ancient, dormant archetype of the god Wotan (Odin).
However, in his autobiography, he reveals that he did not merely view Wotan as a psychological archetype but as a real god active as a psychopomp. He experienced a theophany when his mother died:
"The night before (my Mother's) death I had a frightening dream. I was in a dense gloomy forest...Suddenly I heard a piercing whistle that seemed to resound through the whole universe. My knees shook. Then there were crashings in the under-brush, and a gigantic wolfhound with a fearful, gaping maw burst forth. At the sight of it, the blood froze in my veins. It tore past me, and I suddenly knew: the Wild Huntsman had commanded it to carry away a human soul. I awoke in deadly terror, and the next morning I received the news of my Mother's passing.
....It was Wotan, the god of my Alemannic forefathers, who had gathered my mother to her ancestors - negatively to the "wild horde," but positively to the "salig lut," the blessed folk. It was the Christian missionaries who made Wotan into a devil. In himself he is an important god - A Mercury of Hermes, as the Romans correctly realised, a nature spirit who returned to life again in the Merlin of the Grail legend and became, as the spiritus Mercurialis, the sought after arcanum of the alchemists."

If being a Stay-at-home-mom is so difficult
Why do women consider Stay-at-home-dads lazy?
If watching children is the hardest job in the world
Why do they call it the “bare minimum” for dads to spend their time off work raising the kids with them?

During the Chicoutimi-le-Fjord by-election, the Conservatives promised to give more money to seniors aged 65 to 74, no matter their income. No matter their wealth.
Why? To buy the votes of wealthy boomers, at the expense of younger generations.
It's time we call it what it is: a blatant, generational heist disguised as compassion.
Look at the reality they don't want you to see.
Seniors are, by far, Canada's wealthiest demographic. They already receive $85 billion annually through Old Age Security (OAS).
That's the single largest line item in the entire federal budget; bigger than defence, bigger than health transfers.
Meanwhile, young Canadian couples can't afford a home. They can't even afford the children they desperately want.
This isn't just unfair. It's intergenerational inequity. And the Conservatives want to pour gasoline on the fire.
The People's Party of Canada has a better way.
We say: Make Old Age Security Fair.
Start to phase out OAS when couples have incomes above $100,000 per year (or $65,000 for singles) instead of starting at $190,000 (or $95,000 for singles) as is the case now.
We would save billions of dollars annually.
That's money we can use to provide several thousand dollars more in support for the many seniors with very low incomes who receive the Guaranteed Income Supplement. If you are a senior in genuine need, we will have your back.
And these savings will also help reduce our enormous budget deficit instead of putting our children and grandchildren into debt.
But we will not steal from young workers to fund the retirement of wealthy boomers.
The People's Party fights for a fair future for every generation. We must stop robbing Generation Z and millennials to pay the rich boomers.

If you talk like a nig and listen to nig music, you’re a cultural coal burner.
I just call them filthy savages
They're neither indians nor the first inhabitants of this continent
This is stupid and painfully boomer coded. Just call them First Nations. One, leftists abandoned this term in favour of “indigenous”.
Two, I’m not interested in the “dot or feather” distinction because some people are too stupid and ignorant to know the difference between countries and nations. Referring to First Nations people as “Indians” was an accident based on Columbus’s geographical mistake. Indians are from India.
“First Nations” is clearer and more accurate than either “Indian” or “Indigenous.” These were the first known peoples to form distinct nations on the North American continent.
By “nation,” we mean an ethnocultural people with a shared ethnic identity, history, and social organization. The definition of one.
