West Coast National Park Welcomes Visitors to the 2026 Wildflower Season The 2026 Wildflower Season is officially underway at West Coast National Park (WCNP), with SANParks welcoming visitors from 1 August to 30 September 2026. The iconic Postberg section of the park officially opened on 1 August 2026 and will remain open until 30 September 2026, offering visitors the opportunity to experience one of South Africa’s most spectacular natural floral displays. While some flower species have emerged sooner than usual, the timing and intensity of the annual display remain dependent on weather conditions throughout the season. Visitors can therefore expect the landscape to continue transforming over the coming weeks as more species come into bloom: shorturl.at/e7qYx
