Super happy about this @ICES_ASC #WGFBIT week at the @Tvarminne Zoological Station, it has been a great opportunity to meet interesting people and work on (and also learn about) fisheries impact on benthic communities. Also fell in love with finnish landscapes, what a country!

Have had an absolute blast the last 2 weeks on the Celtic Explorer IGFS Leg 4 Survey!!!! Learned loads about different species and the crew even took the time to teach us net mending & knots in the evening!! @MarineInst @LydsJohnson @NeveMcCann @SaraJaneMoore10

Today I wanted to bring you to one of the deepest, lushest seagrass beds in Ireland. It is in county Kerry and I had the pleasure of monitoring it over 3 years. Let me show you some of its rich marine life. Spring is quite special, as the first shoals of juvenile pollack appear.
