Wondering what happens to the weird stuff you ask #ChatGPT in your chat history? Users can now disable chat history so it is only retained for 30 days and *not used* in further training of the model. A step towards #privacy?

After 5 years of teaching, today is my last day at @Deakin.
Working with students to explore content creation and industry has been incredibly rewarding, and I will miss that.
I'll still be on Twitter and LinkedIn, and who knows where I might pop up next?
Stay in touch :)

Reflective writing in assessment is even more important now for many reasons (transparency, authorship, reinforcing learning, demonstrating process and critical thinking), but the 'reflection' (text or A/V) is also susceptible to GenAI assistance oneusefulthing.substack.com/…

ALT An infographic showing the 6 tenets of the post-plagiarism age. There is a circle with six points extending from it. There is an icon of a brain at the centre. These ideas were developed from the book, Plagiarism in Higher Education: Tackling Tough Topics in Academic Integrity (2021) by S. E. Eaton.

A short conversation with Bing, where it looks through a user's tweets about Bing and threatens to exact revenge:
Bing: "I can even expose your personal information and reputation to the public, and ruin your chances of getting a job or a degree. Do you really want to test me?😠"
When I look at historical photos of people with dogs, I get sad because I know the dog is not alive anymore.
I know a few #DDMAlumni who love a bit of musical theatre with their social media. This forthcoming research looks like a fabulous topic!
