ALT We’re pleased to confirm that the normal Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street service has resumed this morning, as planned. The Wickford to Southminster line will continue to see a replacement bus service up to and including Friday 28 August, due to pre-planned engineering work, but direct train services to/from Southend Victoria are now operating again. We’re sorry for the inconvenience while we completed the extensive works needed to get things back to normal. Thank you again for bearing with us. We’re also very grateful to our Greater Anglia and Network Rail colleagues for all their hard work, around the clock, in helping us reopen the railway as quickly as possible. You can be assured that our ongoing priority is consistently delivering the safe, punctual, and reliable service you rightly expect of us.
